Rick o'connell

Cairo Egypt 1923 Maleka Khan arrived in Cairo to accept a job offer from Dr. Bay, a month after he had presented it to her in London. She was a skilled historian and translator who had been on several digs around the world, including the discovery of King Tut's tomb. Maleka was the youngest child of her family at the age of 21, born to an Egyptian mother and an English father who had an affair during a dig. Her mother left her with her father and never looked back until the day the child was deposited on her doorstep.

Dr. Bay welcomed Maleka Khan to the museum staff and expressed his admiration for her accomplishments. Maleka shared her passion for Egyptian history and her personal connection to Cairo. Dr. Bay empathetically acknowledged the recent loss of Maleka's mother and stepfather in a plane crash. Maleka thanked him and left to begin unpacking. Dr. Bay reminded her to arrive early the next day. Maleka bumped into a young man on her way back home in Cairo. He was gorgeous, a military man named Rick O'Connell. He asked her out for a drink later that night and walked her home to know where to pick her up. Maleka had recently moved from London to work as an Egyptologist in the local history museum. Rick was surprised by her decision but Maleka missed Egypt. The journey was short and they parted ways promising to meet later that evening.

While neither one of them knew it at the time, fate had big plans for Richard O'Connell and maleka khan.

The two continued to see each other whenever Rick's squadron was in town and eventually they fell head over heels in love with one another. They became inseparable and were completely besotted with one another. Six months in to the relationship Rick was set to be shipped out. The two lovers were despondent at being separated for who knew how long, but Maleka promised to wait for him, and Rick promised to think of nothing but her until she was once again in his arms.

Rick was gone for nine long months and when he did finally return, the two lovers decided that they wanted to spend the rest of their lives with each other. They decided that they wanted to get married before they were separated again, and a week after returning home Richard O'Connell and Maleka khan were married. They were blissfully happy until a year later when Rick was once again deployed. This time would see them separated for a year and a half..
