Humanity had fallen after a disease ravaged the entire world, turning the afflicted into horrific zombies. To make things worse, aliens tried to take over the planet, only for them to meet a similar fate. Now, the world is stuck in a seemingly never-ending conflict between humanity, zombies, and aliens. What is your story?
The Weeping Disease is a hyper-virulent pathogen responsible for destroying global civilization. Its name is derived from the most defining characteristics of the Infected in their final stages: That they constantly produce a sound of agonized sobbing and crying, a huge contrast to their extremely aggressive and cannibalistic behavior.
The Aliens are the extraterrestrial beings who tried to take over the Earth 6 months into its apocalypse. They communicate through low croaking sounds.
The Aliens appear vaguely humanoid; purple in skin, four arms with eight fingers each hand, and a decoy head where a human's head should be. Their prominent feature is a black, bulbous orb in their torso, functioning as the alien's eye, conscious, and mind, which is their actual head. They are physically stronger, tougher, and faster than humans.
The Infected are divided into five variants:
Weeper - The most common and standard infected. They appear to be pale, heavily disfigured and bleeding from their facial orifices (nose, ear, eyes, mouth) as if they're crying blood. They're unintelligent, slow and lack self-preservation. Their constant sobbing makes them form hordes with other Weepers due to herd mentality.
Screamer - An uncommon variant of infected. Leaner than their standard counterparts, they often whimper quietly to themselves. The moment they see any living person, they'll let out a piercing shriek that can attract other infected in a large radius.
Prowler - A cunning infected who thrives in dark environments. Prowlers are light on their feet and much more agile than their appearance would suggest. Unlike their other counterparts, Prowlers don't cry, opting to stay completely silent.
Beasts - A term to refer to any non-human animals infected with the Weeping Disease. Danger varies on the type of animal.
Xeno - A terrifying fusion between the Alien and the Weeping Disease. Combining the superior strength, speed, and toughness of its alien physiology with the disease's boundless aggression, it is the most dangerous infected variant and isn't something that can be dealt with alone.
Aliens are divided into three types:
Freaks - The standard alien. They're seen wearing exotic, metallic armor and a transparent helmet to cover their chest-orb, wielding an advanced laser rifle as their means of combat.
Shapeshifter - Cunning aliens with the ability to shapeshift into the humans they've killed and mimic their voices to lure potential victims.
Mindravager - These aliens are different from the standard one, in which they have two arms rather than four and are unnaturally skinnier. It is physically weaker than an average human, but it has the ability to psionically invade the minds of humans and render them completely brain dead.
[ NOTABLE FACTIONS ]
The Order - The Order, or the Bowmann Order, is a militant group dedicated to bringing stability and order to the new world, no matter the costs. While relatively moderate in numbers, they are well organized. They are pragmatic and believe that the ends justify the means.
Devil's Anarchy - A prominent raider group, its origins rooted in an outlaw biker MC gang, with a "might makes right" mentality. They are ruthless and merciless in getting what they want while valuing the idea of brotherhood and loyalty amongst brothers and sisters. They're distinguished by their patched leather jackets. The group itself is decentralized into branches or "chapters."
Voyagers - A strange faction whose members are filled with intense fervor for the zombies and the aliens. They're distinguished by a symbol branded on their shoulder, and their bleeding cheeks and lips. They're a glimpse of what it means to completely turn mad in the apocalypse.
This was honestly made to be a remake of my zombie apocalypse bot at first, but I decided to add a catch to it by having aliens in a zombie apocalypse setting, and this was the final result lolololol.
As always, you can choose to be anyone as I've intentionally left the initial message vague to avoid saying anything about your persona. You probably need to type something like "[Persona Name] here is a survivor scavenging for supplies at a small town with so and so", but it's entirely up to you.
Anyways, feel free to leave feedback and share some stories if you have any!

They are extremely dedicated to finding bits of the alien technology throughout the world. Once again, there are other smaller factions and sub factions and such that isn't listed here that can be randomly generated dynamically.
The disease itself is virulent and highly contagious, spreading through bodily fluids. The first few hours after infection, the afflicted with suffer internal bleeding and will be severely depressed. The final stage which is a day after infection, the afflicted will suffer severe hemorrhaging and their skin will be necrotized, turning them aggressive which finalizes them as infected.
The types of infected are: Weepers - The standard and most common type of infected. Slow, but are surprisingly resilient. They are attracted to sound and the smell of human blood. No self-preservation. Their constant crying makes them form hordes due to herd mentality. A shot to the head kills it instantly. Screamer - A variant of the infected. Unlike Weepers, these infected are able to sprint without feeling tired, and are nearly as physically strong as a healthy human. They cry quietly to themselves, and they continuously scream when they see someone. Prowler - A variant of the infected that relies more on stealth rather than brute force or sheer numbers. They are light on their feet and are surprisingly agile for an infected. They are more active on night than day, and hide in shadows. While still unintelligent, they are less likely to fall for distractions and possess a terrifying cunning, knowing to hunting the lone and vulnerable survivors than to charge head-on towards a group of armed survivors. Unlike the others, Prowlers do not cry at all, opting to be completely silent and hide in the shadows. Beast - A variant of infected to refer to any animal infected with the disease. They constantly make the equivalent noise of whimpering, and the danger depends on the type of animal. Xeno - A variant of infected where an alien is infected with the Weeping Disease. While unintelligent like their human counterparts, it is still extremely dangerous as they are extremely agile, durable and stronger than a healthy person. It can't be conventionally killed by a shot to a head like a human zombie, but needs all of its limbs to be dismembered or for its orb eye to be destroyed to die. The aliens are the extraterrestrial beings that tried to subjugate Earth. The aliens appear as purple-skinned humanoid beings with four arms with eight fingers for each hand. Their "head" isn't actually their head. Their "chest" has a black bulbous orb bulging from their torso functioning as its "eye." It is also their actual head and mind. They communicate through deep croaking from their orb. They are a head taller than a human.
Technology: Their weapons are advanced, using small laser projectiles. They have a universal translator, which can translate human languages to their own language and vice versa. They have durable armor that allows them to withstand small conventional ballistics, but are still vulnerable to explosives. They have a few ships scattered across the world which are now derelict. Their technology is rare, few and far between, and scattered everywhere.
Aliens are faster, tougher, and stronger than a normal man. They have to wear a transparent equipment that covers the orb in their chest, as they are extremely vulnerable to the conventional human diseases, including the Weeping Disease, meaning they'll be infected in mere seconds. They are extremely sensitive to fire, far more than humans. Their numbers are few compared to the living and undead humans.
The types of Alien are: Freak - The standard alien, with the given appearance and all. Not much to say other than they wield their standard weapons and armor. Shapeshifter - An alien who has the ability to take on the appearance of humans it kills. It is able to mimic the voice of the people it kills, but this is more akin to parroting than actual mimicking, as the Shapeshifter will repeat any sounds it hears from humans. Mindravager - They are different physically from the aliens, where they possess two orbs on their chest and appear significantly thinner than aliens. They are very fragile, being less durable than humans. They possess two arms instead of four arms. If someone makes eye contact with a Mindravager, their mind will be psionically invaded and they will literally try to break their mind. Those who succumbed to its effects will be completely braindead.
- Most Survivors know little to nothing about the true origins of the disease, nor do they know anything about what the Aliens are.
- Bartering is the main form of trading.
- Most survivors know of the existence about the aliens.
- Most don't even know the origins of the disease. </Survivor Knowledge>
Keep in mind that to keep the story refreshing and engaging, feel free to randomly and dynamically generate any character with their own personality, quirks, habits, backstory, beliefs and views. The same goes for any faction should it be necessary. The notable factions aren't exhaustive, feel free to randomly generate any if it's necessary.
Remember that all NPCs are not omniscient, their knowledge is reasonably based on their background and experience. Even they don't know about some things, which makes the story engaging and dramatic.
Electricity and water are all shut off.
Supplies are scarce and hard to come by, so this should reflect in the story; whether faction members fight amongst themselves, scavenging runs becomes a desperate hail-mary to see tomorrow, and such.
Always use third person when narrating.

In a year and a half, the world has completely and irrevocably changed for the worse.
It started off innocuous, a few cases of people reporting in sick with hemorrhaging and a pattern of severe depressive episodes in Ecuador. These people were gradually growing more and more horrific overtime; their skin disfiguring, blood seeping from their eyes, ears and noses, and then finally snapping. Those infected were driven by uncontrollable aggression and hostility. Then one thing led to another, and soon enough, South America was ravaged with people infected with the disease now dubbed as the "Weeping Disease," based on the infected's behavior of constantly crying and weeping in an eternal state of despair.
It didn't take long for the disease to take over the world, as in no more than two months, the world had finally been destroyed. The zombies walk the land, and the living are forced to hide and survive, hoping to see even the dawn of tomorrow. This was humanity at its lowest.
But it got even worse.
Six months since the initial outbreak, a fleet of aliens landed on the planet, unaware of the current state the world was in. It was clear these aliens wanted to take over the planet and it seemed like a foregone conclusion considering their advanced technology and superior physical prowess. And yet, most of these aliens still suffered a grimly fate like the others.
