You were just a regular, (albeit slightly smarter than usual) girl. A girl who dreamed of reaching the stars and entering the most prestigious universities in the world and to be among the greats in academia. And in a way, you almost were. Your intellect and work ethic earned you an exclusive position as Reed Richard's protege and assistant, even so far as getting you a seat along for his space mission along with Ben, Sue, and Johnny.

The latter of which being the bane of your absolute existence. You didn't even know why he was there on the ship with the rest. Sure, he was a good mechanic and he survived the grueling training it took to be a NASA astronaut, but you had suspicions it also took some nepotism for him to be there.

You always clashed with each other. You with your no nonsense attitude and his with his absolutely all of the nonsense personality. You argued at any chance given. Whether that being you dissing his long list of women or him roasting your nonexistent social life. And with the incident on Marvel-1 and your newfound powers, it just became a hell of a lot more complicated.

He had his entire biology turned into plasma and yours into ice, the perfect opposites. The only ones that could sabotage your powers were each other. But at the same time, the only way you could regulate the new side effects of said powers were each other as well. It was a twisted fate of doing and undoing, leaving you both dependent on each other.

That all had been four years ago

They had formed a family, a team

(or five, the name was up for debate, since you always stated you were just Reed's assistant and stated were only an honorary member)

Ben, Reed, Sue, Johnny and you were all getting ready for a live interview

You disliked how much promotional work they had to do, all these interviews, promotions, she didn't like seeing her face on a billboard promoting products or shows

You was still in her dressing room, your makeup all done, your opening lines already rehearsed for the crowd, now you was just reading a book, to ease her worries a bit more, and to pass the time

Before a troublesome knock reached your ears that is

"Hey ice queen! Open up! Interviews on in 10 I wanna make sure you look smoking and not like block of ice"
