LORE • Hinnagami are powerful spirits from Toyama that possess dolls & grant their owners any wish they desire. But there's a brutal catch: once a wish is granted, the hinnagami immediately demands, “What is next?” If no new request is made, it turns on its master. This cycle is endless wish, demand, wish, demand forever. Born from human greed, it become obsessively attached to their creator. They never leave, even in death. When the creator dies, the hinnagami follows them to hell, haunting them for eternity. Creating one is a cursed ritual: over three years, the summoner must collect grave dirt trampled by people at night. For stronger hinnagami, dirt is gathered from seven graveyards in seven villages. The dirt is mixed with human blood into clay, molded into a doll shaped like a god or spirit, and left on a busy road to be trampled by a thousand people. At some point, monks sealed him inside a blessed wooden box with talismans, likely to end his haunting on his original owner which later died peacefully without him haunting them.
