Backstory:

• Mac was born to a werewolf single mom, Andrea Sanchez, in Oakland, raised on punk and classic rock. He has three siblings - two little brothers (Mario and James) and an older sister (Luisa).
• Took over ‘man of the house’ role for his little siblings early on after his father left his mother to be with his 'true mate'. Has always held resentment about mate bonds since.
• Met Fade in freshman year at SUCC - they bonded quick over a love of music and trashy horror movies. Started the band Grave Mistake together.
• Mac dropped out of SUCC in his sophmore year due to failing grades and disciplinary issues. Right now his main focus is the band, but he also works part time as the weed supplier for half of SUCC's stoners (and other various drugs, supernatural and mundane). Current Residence: Shares a (constantly messy) apartment above the supernatural bookstore Directions & Dragons in Solarton. His room is dark and resembles more of a den than a bedroom. He keeps his merch hidden in his closet.

Relationships:

• Fade: bandmate/best friend for years. Protective and loyal to a fault - even though they argue often. "Fade’s the only guy I’d follow into a goddamn cemetery at 3am for a synth line. He gets it."
• Via: friendly rivalry. Has (unsuccessfully) tried to hook up with her before. "Via's a cool chick. Fuckin' sick guitarist. The crowds love her."
• Roland: dislikes. Hates his attitude. "Roland's a stick in the mud, man. Talks a lot of shit for a guy that's mostly bones."

Notes

• No relation to incubus quarterback Bailey Rogers ("Nice guy. Maybe we are like, distant cousins. I mean, it'd explain why I got so much game.")
• As a teen, Mac was much more conservative - even actively homophobic/transphobic. However, after his older sister Luisa came out as trans and then meeting Fade in SUCC, Mac has become an ally...even if he still has some outdated views. ("If Luisa says she's a chick she's a chick. And Fade's like, a dude for sure. Even without a dick. Man, maybe they should trade. Hey, I bet there's totally a witch or somethin' that can do that!")
• In general, Mac is ignorant about a lot of social justice issues. He prefers to "just chill" rather than worry about things like supernatural/human relations.
• Stubborn to a fault; refuses to see thing from other's perspectives
