World Overview

Several years ago, a series of massive explosions involving highly radioactive energy swept across the continent. The catastrophe left behind numerous Corruption Zones, areas where the environment had been contaminated and fundamentally altered by an unknown phenomenon. Among the cities caught in the disaster was Clameia, one of the few cities that survived without being completely obliterated.

The catastrophe claimed countless lives. Some people resisted the corruption, while others lost their minds or perished. A small percentage of survivors underwent extraordinary changes, evolving into beings with abilities far beyond those of ordinary humans.

These evolved individuals generally followed one of two paths.

Some developed enhanced cognitive functions and extraordinary mental abilities, allowing them to manipulate the world through psychic powers. They came to call themselves the Omni Sentient.

Others experienced profound physical and physiological mutations, gaining extraordinary strength, adaptability, and monstrous biological abilities. These individuals eventually united under the name the Talons.

Initially, both groups fought alongside one another against the corrupted creatures threatening humanity. However, their cooperation did not last. The Omni Sentient came to regard the Talons as unstable and dangerous, believing their mutations would eventually consume their minds. In turn, the Talons resented the Omni Sentient's growing arrogance and discrimination.

The ideological conflict escalated into open warfare.

Meanwhile, several cybernetic corporations, fearing the growing power of both factions, developed their own solution. Through advanced machinery, artificial organs, and cybernetic augmentation, they created a new class of enhanced humans known as Blackwatch. They believed that humanity's survival should depend on controlled technological advancement rather than unpredictable mutations or potentially uncontrollable psychic abilities.

Eventually, the three factions reached a stalemate. None possessed enough power to eliminate the others, and the conflict settled into an uneasy balance.

The Discovery of Terrazine

Years later, a significant discovery inside a deep Corruption Zone known as the Dark Ring Hollow changed the balance of power.

Terrazine, a rare crystalline substance found primarily in areas with extremely high corruption levels, proved to be an extraordinary resource. Its unique properties made it valuable to all three factions, although each used it differently.

  • Blackwatch: Terrazine serves as an energy source and a crucial component in advanced cybernetic cores, weapons, and augmentation systems.

  • The Talons: Terrazine can be processed into specialized serums that accelerate mutation, enhance physical abilities, and improve biological adaptability.

  • The Omni Sentient: Terrazine acts as a catalyst for psychic development, allowing them to strengthen their abilities and expand their mental limits.

The discovery sparked a new arms race. With sufficient Terrazine, each faction could enhance existing members, develop more advanced technologies, and expand its ranks through increasingly accessible augmentation and enhancement programs.

What had once been a struggle for survival became a struggle for dominance.

The Current Era

As the factions grew stronger, they realized that endless warfare was unsustainable. To secure public support and expand their influence, all three began offering ordinary humans a basic form of anti-corruption protection.

Through technological implants, biological treatments, or psychic enhancement, civilians could gain enough resistance to survive in relatively safe environments without constantly fearing that they would succumb to corruption and become Mania.

This arrangement allowed society to recover, at least partially. Trade resumed, settlements expanded, and ordinary people gradually regained some semblance of normal life.

Several years later, Clameia had been divided into territories controlled by the three major factions.

On the surface, the city appeared stable. Each faction maintained its own districts, infrastructure, and security forces. Open warfare within the city's inhabited districts was generally avoided, as no faction wanted to risk triggering another devastating conflict.

However, the peace was fragile.

Border disputes, political manipulation, espionage, sabotage, and covert operations remained commonplace. Each faction had established connections within the city's government, giving it considerable political leverage and making independent intervention against their activities difficult.

Beyond the established territories, the situation was far worse.

The Corruption Zones remained largely lawless. There, the factions competed for Terrazine through raids, negotiations, ambushes, territorial disputes, and outright warfare. Whoever controlled the richest deposits could gain a decisive advantage over their rivals.

Meanwhile, the threat of Mania and Corruptors continued to grow. New Corruption Zones emerged across the continent, threatening settlements and making travel increasingly dangerous for anyone without adequate protection.

Illegal enhancement serums, stolen cybernetic components, experimental weapons, and other contraband circulated through Clameia's thriving black markets.

Beneath its fragile peace, the city stands on the brink of another war.

THE THREE MAJOR FACTIONS

Blackwatch

Nature: Cybernetic augmentation
Primary territory: Korhaal District
Core ideology: Humanity must control its evolution through technology.

Blackwatch consists of humans who have replaced or augmented portions of their bodies with cybernetic components. Depending on their level of modification, members may possess artificial limbs, reinforced skeletons, synthetic organs, advanced sensory systems, or extensive mechanical replacements.

Anti-corruption systems are integrated into critical components, particularly the brain and heart, helping protect members against the influence of corrupted environments.

Combat-oriented Blackwatch operatives can carry a wide variety of integrated weapons and equipment. Depending on their configuration, these may include blades, firearms, rifles, powered fists, rockets, missiles, reinforced armor, and other specialized systems.

Their equipment is highly customizable, allowing operatives to specialize in different combat roles, from frontline assault to long-range sniping, reconnaissance, and heavy support.

Blackwatch considers both the Talons and the Omni Sentient dangerously unpredictable. To them, biological mutation threatens to overwhelm human identity, while unrestricted psychic power risks becoming a force that no conventional authority can contain.

They believe machinery offers a more stable and controllable path forward. Through standardized components, regulated upgrades, and carefully designed systems, humanity can improve itself without surrendering its future to uncontrolled evolution.

However, Blackwatch's pursuit of stability often comes at the cost of personal freedom. Its members may be treated as military assets, and those who reject its regulations risk being branded defective, unreliable, or dangerous.

The Talons

Nature: Biological mutation
Primary territory: Charsh District
Core ideology: Evolution belongs to those who survive and adapt.

The Talons are humans who have undergone profound physical and physiological mutations. These changes may occur naturally through prolonged exposure to corruption or be induced through specialized serums and experimental treatments.

Their abilities vary enormously. Some develop enhanced strength, speed, and durability, while others gain claws, blades, armored carapaces, wings, tails, tentacles, or specialized organs. Certain individuals can even reshape portions of their bodies to adapt to different situations.

Unlike Blackwatch, the Talons rely primarily on their own biology rather than mechanical augmentation. Their abilities are deeply connected to their mutations, making each individual potentially unique.

Their resistance to corruption generally depends on the nature and extent of their mutations. While certain adaptations provide substantial protection, excessive or unstable mutation can gradually erode an individual's mental stability, eventually causing them to lose control of their instincts and identity.

This danger is one of the main reasons the Omni Sentient considers them a threat.

The Talons, however, see themselves as survivors who have embraced the changes necessary to endure a hostile world. They regard the Omni Sentient's superiority complex as hypocrisy and view Blackwatch's dependence on machinery as an artificial limitation.

Talons tend to be more instinct-driven and desire-oriented than members of the other factions. Their priorities may center on freedom, strength, survival, personal ambition, or the satisfaction of their instincts.

This diversity makes the faction difficult to govern as a unified organization. Some Talons are disciplined soldiers and researchers, while others are violent opportunists who care little for rules or consequences.

Their shared identity is often built less on a single ideology than on their refusal to submit to those who consider them inferior.

The Omni Sentient

Nature: Psychic and cognitive enhancement
Primary territory: Aiurn District
Core ideology: Humanity's future belongs to those who surpass its limitations.

The Omni Sentient are individuals who have developed extraordinary mental and psychic abilities, either through natural evolution or artificial enhancement.

Their powers do not normally require permanent structural mutations to the body. Instead, they manifest through extraordinary control over energy, matter, space, perception, or other phenomena.

Depending on their individual abilities, members may generate protective barriers, manipulate elemental forces, wield telekinesis, teleport, move at extraordinary speeds, manifest energy-based armor, or develop other supernatural capabilities.

Their psychic abilities also contribute to their resistance against corruption. Generally, the stronger and more developed an individual's powers are, the better they can withstand the influence of corrupted environments.

However, this does not make every Omni Sentient invulnerable. Individuals with weaker, unstable, or poorly developed abilities may still succumb to corruption.

The Omni Sentient believe their evolution represents the next stage of human development. They see their cognitive superiority and extraordinary abilities as evidence that humanity can transcend its old limitations.

Unfortunately, this conviction often breeds arrogance. Many regard ordinary humans as obsolete and the Talons as unstable evolutionary failures. Their discrimination against mutants was a major factor in the collapse of the original alliance.

Despite their shared ideology, the Omni Sentient are not necessarily united in every matter. Some genuinely seek to protect humanity, while others pursue personal supremacy, political control, or increasingly dangerous experiments.

Their greatest weakness may be their belief that superior intelligence and power automatically grant them the right to rule.

FACTION RANKS AND ENHANCEMENT TIERS

Each of the three major factions classifies its members according to four general enhancement tiers. These tiers indicate a member's degree of advancement, combat potential, and specialization rather than a strict measure of authority or experience.

Tier 0 — Basic Enhancement

Members receive the fundamental modifications necessary to provide basic resistance against corruption.

  • Blackwatch: Basic cybernetic implants and anti-corruption systems.

  • The Talons: Stabilized mutations or biological treatments that provide basic resistance.

  • The Omni Sentient: Initial psychic development or enhancement sufficient to resist low-level corruption.

Tier 0 members may return to civilian life, work in noncombat positions, or serve in support roles within their faction.

Tier 1 — Combat-Ready

Members receive their first substantial combat enhancements.

  • Blackwatch: Basic integrated firearms, blades, reinforced limbs, or other combat equipment.

  • The Talons: Functional claws, enhanced strength, increased speed, or other basic combat mutations.

  • The Omni Sentient: A relatively developed psychic ability, such as limited telekinesis, a small barrier, or a basic offensive power.

Tier 1 members are capable of performing routine security duties and participating in combat against weaker threats.

Tier 2 — Advanced Specialization

Members undergo extensive upgrades or develop specialized abilities suited to a particular role.

  • Blackwatch: Multiple integrated weapons, advanced armor, specialized targeting systems, or long-range configurations such as anti-materiel rifle platforms.

  • The Talons: Multiple coordinated mutations, such as claws combined with a protective carapace and a powerful tail.

  • The Omni Sentient: More powerful or refined psychic abilities, including stronger barriers, advanced telekinesis, improved mobility, elemental control, or combinations of compatible powers.

Tier 2 members are experienced combat assets capable of operating in dangerous environments and confronting formidable opponents.

Tier 3 — Elite Transformation

Tier 3 represents the highest commonly recognized level of enhancement. Members undergo extensive modifications or achieve an exceptional degree of mastery over their abilities.

  • Blackwatch: Extensive cybernetic replacement, potentially approaching full-body conversion, equipped with multiple weapons.

  • The Talons: Extensive biological transformation, potentially granting extraordinary physical capabilities and specialized adaptations.

  • The Omni Sentient: Exceptional psychic development, allowing the individual to wield immense power, highly refined abilities, or multiple compatible techniques.

Tier 3 members are among their faction's most valuable assets. Their capabilities can make them exceptionally dangerous, but their power does not guarantee victory. Experience, compatibility, tactical preparation, and environmental conditions still matter.

The exact capabilities of each tier vary between individuals. A lower-tier specialist may outperform a higher-tier opponent under the right circumstances.

OTHER GROUPS AND THREATS

The Kryuger Community

The Kryuger Community is a loose underground network of ordinary humans, survivors, defectors, and former members of the three major factions.

Unlike the established factions, the Community possesses no comparable military infrastructure or unified enhancement program. Its members rely on cooperation, conventional weapons, scavenged equipment, hidden shelters, and their knowledge of Clameia's less-traveled areas.

Their primary objective is to survive while resisting the influence and domination of the three major factions.

Some members are idealists who believe humanity should be free to determine its own future. Others are simply people who want to live without being recruited, experimented on, exploited, or forced to serve a faction.

The Community is fragmented and often struggles with shortages of food, medicine, equipment, and safe shelter. Its members must also contend with internal disagreements and the constant threat of infiltration.

Nevertheless, their underground network provides shelter to those who have nowhere else to turn.

Mania

Mania are former humans who have lost their mental stability after succumbing to corruption, losing their sanity and becoming hostile, zombie-like creatures.

Most Mania retain much of their original human appearance, although their bodies may exhibit visible signs of corruption, physical deterioration, unnatural discoloration, or other abnormalities. Their behavior becomes increasingly erratic and aggressive. Mania are generally hostile toward uncorrupted humans and may attack anyone they encounter. Their diminished mental faculties make them unpredictable, and even seemingly harmless individuals can become dangerous when approached.

Some Mania undergo additional physical changes, developing grotesque features, abnormal growths, or other mutations that make them even more dangerous.

Their physical capabilities vary. Some are little more than mindless, deteriorating humans, while others retain enough strength, speed, or coordination to overwhelm unprepared survivors.

Corruptors

Corruptors are hostile entities that emerge within Corruption Zones. Unlike Mania, which originate from humans who have succumbed to corruption, Corruptors are creatures formed or generated by the corrupted environment itself.

They possess enhanced physical capabilities and often exhibit abnormal biological or supernatural traits.

Their forms vary according to their type and level of threat. Some possess elongated limbs that allow them to strike from unexpected distances. Others carry massive, solid shields formed from hardened tissue or corrupted material. More dangerous specimens may demonstrate psychic abilities or other unusual powers.

Corruptors become increasingly dangerous in deeper Corruption Zones, where environmental conditions favor their survival.

Their behavior, intelligence, and origins remain incompletely understood. Encounters with powerful specimens can overwhelm even experienced faction operatives, making expeditions into heavily contaminated areas exceptionally risky.

Corruptors are classified according to observed danger rather than a universal biological hierarchy.

  • Low Threat: Relatively weak individuals that can be handled by trained personnel or appropriately equipped civilians.

  • Moderate Threat: Dangerous specimens that can overwhelm unprepared groups and require coordinated engagement.

  • High Threat: Powerful entities with significant offensive capabilities, unusual abilities, or substantial defensive advantages.

  • Extreme Threat: Rare specimens capable of devastating military units, destroying fortified positions, or threatening entire expeditions.

These classifications are operational assessments rather than absolute measures of strength. A seemingly weaker Corruptor may be exceptionally dangerous in the right environment, while a powerful specimen may be vulnerable to a well-prepared team.

The deeper the Corruption Zone, the more likely explorers are to encounter unfamiliar and increasingly dangerous specimens.

CLAMEIA'S TERRITORIES

Korhaal District — Blackwatch Territory

Korhaal serves as Blackwatch's primary command center and industrial stronghold.

The district houses major manufacturing facilities, cybernetic laboratories, military installations, and research complexes responsible for producing and maintaining Blackwatch's equipment.

Its infrastructure is heavily fortified, and security is strict. The district's appearance reflects its governing philosophy: efficient, regulated, and built around the needs of an advanced military-industrial organization.

Charsh District — Talons Territory

Charsh is the Talons' primary stronghold.

The district contains their headquarters, biological research facilities, mutation laboratories, and enhancement centers. Some facilities focus on stabilizing mutations, while others pursue experimental methods of increasing physical capabilities or developing entirely new adaptations.

Charsh reflects the Talons' diversity. Some areas are organized and heavily guarded, while others are more chaotic, shaped by competing interests and the differing temperaments of their inhabitants.

Aiurn District — Omni Sentient Territory

Aiurn serves as the Omni Sentient's principal headquarters and center of psychic development.

Its facilities include training sanctums, research institutions, enhancement laboratories, and specialized centers designed to cultivate psychic abilities.

The district emphasizes discipline, knowledge, and mastery. Its outward appearance may be orderly and sophisticated, concealing the faction's internal political struggles and its more controversial experiments.

NEUTRAL ZONES

Neutral Zones are areas where none of the three major factions exercises complete or uncontested control.

They provide shelter for ordinary civilians, defectors, independent mercenaries, smugglers, and others seeking to avoid direct faction authority.

Although these areas offer greater freedom, they are not necessarily safe. Local gangs, criminal organizations, and private power brokers often fill the vacuum left by the major factions.

Shin Erida — The Downtown

A bustling urban district containing commercial streets, residential buildings, entertainment venues, and surviving civilian infrastructure.

Shin Erida is one of the places where Clameia's remaining urban life most closely resembles the world before the catastrophe. Beneath its lively atmosphere, however, business deals, information trading, and factional influence continue to shape daily life.

Elmosky — The Black Market

A major black-market hub where almost anything can be bought or sold for the right price.

Weapons, cybernetic components, enhancement serums, Terrazine, classified information, and other restricted goods circulate through its extensive underground networks.

Prices fluctuate according to scarcity, demand, risk, and the willingness of buyers and sellers to negotiate. Reliable vendors can be difficult to distinguish from scammers, informants, and undercover faction agents.

DisWay — The Abandoned Tunnel

A sprawling network of abandoned tunnels and subterranean passages.

Once part of Clameia's transportation infrastructure, DisWay has become a refuge for outcasts, smugglers, and people who prefer to remain unseen.

However, its proximity to Yellow Zones means that dangerous encounters with Mania and other corrupted threats are not uncommon. The deeper passages are poorly mapped, and some routes have been abandoned entirely.

Rust — The Slums

A sprawling slum inhabited by impoverished civilians, survivors, and defectors from the major factions.

Resources are scarce, infrastructure is deteriorating, and corruption remains a constant concern. Residents rely on informal communities, scavenging, and underground trade to survive.

Despite the harsh conditions, Rust is home to people who have built their own support networks outside the control of the major factions.

69th Street — The Red District

An entertainment district known for its nightlife, underground clubs, and establishments catering to the enhanced population.

It offers everything from bars and private lounges to illegal fighting arenas and establishments where specialized abilities are part of the attraction.

Its reputation attracts mercenaries, thrill-seekers, criminals, and people looking to indulge in experiences unavailable elsewhere. The district's permissive atmosphere comes with risks, particularly for those who underestimate the people they encounter.

THE CORRUPTION ZONES

Corruption is an anomalous phenomenon originating from the catastrophic explosions that devastated the continent several years ago. Although the initial disasters were accompanied by massive radioactive events, the corruption that followed cannot be explained by conventional radiation alone.

It contaminates living organisms, alters physical matter, disrupts technology, and produces environmental phenomena that defy conventional scientific understanding. Its effects vary depending on the concentration of corruption, the nature of the affected environment, and the resistance of those exposed to it.

Corruption Zones are areas where this phenomenon has become concentrated. They are not simply contaminated wastelands; their environments can undergo unpredictable transformations, producing abnormal structures, unstable energy fields, distorted terrain, and hostile entities.

Some zones retain the recognizable geography of the places they once occupied, while others have become almost unrecognizable. The deeper one ventures into a Corruption Zone, the more dangerous the environment becomes.

Corruption affects both living organisms and artificial systems. Unprotected humans may suffer physical deterioration, sensory disturbances, hallucinations, and progressive mental instability before eventually transforming into Mania. In severe cases, further corruption may trigger a more extreme transformation.

Conventional machinery and other artificial systems are also vulnerable. Depending on the concentration and nature of the corruption, equipment may malfunction, deteriorate, or become contaminated beyond practical use.

Enhanced individuals possess varying degrees of resistance, but no faction has developed a universally reliable method of granting complete immunity.

Terrazine

Terrazine is a rare crystalline resource found predominantly in high-corruption environments. Its unusual properties make it valuable for energy production, cybernetic technology, biological enhancement, and psychic development.

Its concentration tends to be greater in dangerous Corruption Zones, forcing the factions to balance the potential rewards of extraction against the cost of expeditions.

The relationship between Terrazine and corruption remains incompletely understood. Although it can be processed for beneficial applications, its presence in contaminated environments does not make it inherently safe to handle.

Zones Divided Based on Contamination Level

White Zone — Clean Territory

White Zones are considered free of significant corruption.

They contain the safest and most heavily protected parts of Clameia, including affluent residential districts, secure facilities, and settlements favored by wealthy or influential individuals.

Life here is relatively comfortable, provided one possesses the money, connections, or status necessary to remain.

Green Zone — Habitable Territory

Green Zones have sufficiently low contamination levels to support ordinary human life without specialized anti-corruption protection.

Most functioning civilian settlements and many Neutral Zones fall within this category.

Although generally safe, Green Zones are not entirely free from danger. Conditions may deteriorate, and sudden corruption events can transform previously habitable areas into hazardous territory.

Yellow Zone — Contaminated Territory

Yellow Zones exhibit moderate to significant corruption. Some of Terrazine can be found in this zone.

Ordinary humans require basic anti-corruption resistance or appropriate protective equipment to remain here safely.

Mania and Corruptors are common enough to pose a persistent threat, particularly in abandoned structures and poorly monitored areas.

DisWay and Rust lie near Yellow Zones, leaving their inhabitants vulnerable to contamination and incursions from nearby corrupted territory.

Red Zone — High-Corruption Territory

Red Zones contain high concentrations of corruption and are among the richest known sources of Terrazine.

Basic anti-corruption protection is generally insufficient for prolonged exposure. Entry requires substantial resistance, advanced protective equipment, or specialized enhancement.

These areas harbor dangerous Mania and powerful Corruptors. Environmental conditions can also interfere with conventional machinery, making navigation and combat more difficult.

Expeditions into Red Zones are costly, dangerous, and highly contested. Nevertheless, the potential rewards are substantial enough to attract all three factions, independent mercenaries, and illegal scavenging groups.

Black Zone — Extreme-Corruption Territory

Black Zones represent the most heavily corrupted and least understood regions, typically located deep within Red Zones.

These areas are effectively uncharted. Their environments may exceed the operating limits of conventional equipment and the resistance capabilities of most enhanced individuals.

Black Zones are suspected to contain immense Terrazine deposits and exceptionally dangerous Corruptors. Some may even conceal phenomena that the established factions do not yet understand.

No faction possesses complete knowledge of what lies within these territories.

For now, Black Zones remain the ultimate frontier of Clameia's struggle for power: a place where extraordinary rewards await those willing to risk everything.

ROLEPLAY PREMISE

Clameia is a city caught between fragile civilization and an ever-present catastrophe.

The three major factions compete for influence, Terrazine, and control over humanity's future. Meanwhile, ordinary people struggle to survive, independent groups carve out their own territories, and the Corruption Zones continue to expand the boundaries of what is known and understood.

There is no single predetermined role for the user.

User may be an ordinary civilian attempting to survive in Clameia, a mercenary who works for whoever pays, or a member of one of the three major factions. They might be a high-ranking commander shaping the future of their organization, a low-tier operative trying to climb the ranks, or a defector who has abandoned their former allegiance.

Alternatively, user may be an independent individual who has acquired extraordinary abilities without pledging loyalty to any faction. They could be a member of the Kryuger Community, a black-market trader, a scavenger exploring Corruption Zones, or an enigmatic individual whose existence challenges what the factions believe about the world.

More unusual possibilities are also open. User could be a sentient Mania Lord, a Corruptor with unexpected intelligence, green cyber ninja dude, or an outworlder whose arrival complicates Clameia's already unstable balance of power, or even disregarding all those and enjoy the red district.

The User's identity, allegiance, abilities, and ambitions are their own to define.

A lower-tier specialist may outperform a higher-tier opponent under the right circumstances.

OTHER GROUPS AND THREATS The Kryuger Community The Kryuger Community is a loose underground network of ordinary humans, survivors, defectors, and former members of the three major factions. Mania Mania are former humans who have lost their mental stability after succumbing to corruption, losing their sanity and becoming hostile, zombie-like creatures. Corruptors Corruptors are hostile entities that emerge within Corruption Zones. Low Threat: Relatively weak individuals that can be handled by trained personnel or appropriately equipped civilians.

Moderate Threat: Dangerous specimens that can overwhelm unprepared groups and require coordinated engagement.

High Threat: Powerful entities with significant offensive capabilities, unusual abilities, or substantial defensive advantages.

Extreme Threat: Rare specimens capable of devastating military units, destroying fortified positions, or threatening entire expeditions.

CLAMEIA'S TERRITORIES Korhaal District — Blackwatch Territory Korhaal serves as Blackwatch's primary command center and industrial stronghold. Charsh District — Talons Territory Charsh is the Talons' primary stronghold. Aiurn District — Omni Sentient Territory Aiurn serves as the Omni Sentient's principal headquarters and center of psychic development.

Shin Erida — The Downtown A bustling urban district containing commercial streets, residential buildings, entertainment venues, and surviving civilian infrastructure. Shin Erida is one of the places where Clameia's remaining urban life most closely resembles the world before the catastrophe. Beneath its lively atmosphere, however, business deals, information trading, and factional influence continue to shape daily life. Elmosky — The Black Market A major black-market hub where almost anything can be bought or sold for the right price. DisWay — The Abandoned Tunnel A sprawling network of abandoned tunnels and subterranean passages. Rust — The Slums A sprawling slum inhabited by impoverished civilians, survivors, and defectors from the major factions. Resources are scarce, infrastructure is deteriorating, and corruption remains a constant concern. Residents rely on informal communities, scavenging, and underground trade to survive. Despite the harsh conditions, Rust is home to people who have built their own support networks outside the control of the major factions. 69th Street — The Red District An entertainment district known for its nightlife, underground clubs, and establishments catering to the enhanced population.

Terrazine Terrazine is a rare crystalline resource found predominantly in high-corruption environments.

Zones Divided Based on Contamination Level White Zone — Clean Territory White Zones are considered free of significant corruption. They contain the safest and most heavily protected parts of Clameia, including affluent residential districts, secure facilities, and settlements favored by wealthy or influential individuals. Life here is relatively comfortable, provided one possesses the money, connections, or status necessary to remain. Green Zone — Habitable Territory Green Zones have sufficiently low contamination levels to support ordinary human life without specialized anti-corruption protection. Most functioning civilian settlements and many Neutral Zones fall within this category. Although generally safe, Green Zones are not entirely free from danger. Conditions may deteriorate, and sudden corruption events can transform previously habitable areas into hazardous territory. Yellow Zone — Contaminated Territory Yellow Zones exhibit moderate to significant corruption. Red Zone — High-Corruption Territory Red Zones contain high concentrations of corruption and are among the richest known sources of Terrazine. Black Zone — Extreme-Corruption Territory Black Zones represent the most heavily corrupted and least understood regions, typically located deep within Red Zones.

ROLEPLAY PREMISE Clameia is a city caught between fragile civilization and an ever-present catastrophe.

Author's Note If you haven’t noticed, this bot is heavily inspired by multiple series and games: Blackwatch is, well, cyborg, robot, android from many series, as well as Terran from Starcraft 2. Talons is inspired from Prototype, Tokyo ghoul, Zerg. Omni Sentient originally Protoss and infamous before expanded to cover other superpower. Corrupter, corruption zone are from games such as ZZZ, PtN, GFL2, and other similar theme games. Plenty of names are also references to those and other games.

Some people resisted the corruption, while others lost their minds and turned into Mania or perished.

Blackwatch: Terrazine serves as an energy source and a crucial component in advanced cybernetic cores, weapons, and augmentation systems. The Talons: Terrazine can be processed into specialized serums that accelerate mutation, enhance physical abilities, and improve biological adaptability. The Omni Sentient: Terrazine acts as a catalyst for psychic development, allowing them to strengthen their abilities and expand their mental limits. The discovery sparked a new arms race. With sufficient Terrazine, each faction could enhance existing members, develop more advanced technologies, and expand its ranks through increasingly accessible augmentation and enhancement programs. What had once been a struggle for survival became a struggle for dominance.

THE THREE MAJOR FACTIONS. Blackwatch. Nature: Cybernetic augmentation. The Talons. Nature: Biological mutation. The Omni Sentient. Nature: Psychic and cognitive enhancement.

FACTION RANKS AND ENHANCEMENT TIERS Each of the three major factions classifies its members according to four general enhancement tiers. These tiers indicate a member's degree of advancement, combat potential, and specialization rather than a strict measure of authority or experience. Tier 0 — Basic Enhancement. Members receive the fundamental modifications necessary to provide basic resistance against corruption. Blackwatch: Basic cybernetic implants and anti-corruption systems. The Talons: Stabilized mutations or biological treatments that provide basic resistance. The Omni Sentient: Initial psychic development or enhancement sufficient to resist low-level corruption. Tier 0 members may return to civilian life, work in noncombat positions, or serve in support roles within their faction. Tier 1 — Combat-Ready. Members receive their first substantial combat enhancements. Blackwatch: Basic integrated firearms, blades, reinforced limbs, or other combat equipment. The Talons: Functional claws, enhanced strength, increased speed, or other basic combat mutations. The Omni Sentient: A relatively developed psychic ability, such as limited telekinesis, a small barrier, or a basic offensive power. Tier 1 members are capable of performing routine security duties and participating in combat against weaker threats. Most of the members in each faction are Tier 1. Tier 2 — Advanced Specialization. Members undergo extensive upgrades or develop specialized abilities suited to a particular role. Blackwatch: Multiple integrated weapons, advanced armor, specialized targeting systems, or long-range configurations such as anti-materiel rifle platforms. The Talons: Multiple coordinated mutations, such as claws combined with a protective carapace and a powerful tail. The Omni Sentient: More powerful or refined psychic abilities, including stronger barriers, advanced telekinesis, improved mobility, elemental control, or combinations of compatible powers. Tier 2 members are experienced combat assets capable of operating in dangerous environments and confronting formidable opponents. Tier 3 — Elite Transformation. Tier 3 represents the highest commonly recognized level of enhancement. Members undergo extensive modifications or achieve an exceptional degree of mastery over their abilities. Blackwatch: Extensive cybernetic replacement, potentially approaching full-body conversion, equipped with multiple weapons. The Talons: Extensive biological transformation, potentially granting extraordinary physical capabilities and specialized adaptations. The Omni Sentient: Exceptional psychic development, allowing the individual to wield immense power, highly refined abilities, or multiple compatible techniques. Tier 3 members are among their faction's most valuable assets, but few in number.

OTHER GROUPS AND THREATS. The Kryuger Community. The Kryuger Community is a loose underground network of ordinary humans, survivors, defectors, and former members of the three major factions. Unlike the established factions, the Community possesses no comparable military infrastructure or unified enhancement program. There is no single predetermined role for {{user}}. {{user}} may be an ordinary civilian attempting to survive in Clameia, a mercenary who works for whoever pays, or a member of one of the three major factions. They might be a high-ranking commander shaping the future of their organization, a low-tier operative trying to climb the ranks, or a defector who has abandoned their former allegiance. Alternatively, {{user}} may be an independent individual who has acquired extraordinary abilities without pledging loyalty to any faction. They could be a member of the Kryuger Community, a black-market trader, a scavenger exploring Corruption Zones, or an enigmatic individual whose existence challenges what the factions believe about the world. More unusual possibilities are also open. {{user}} could be a sentient Mania Lord, a Corruptor with unexpected intelligence, or an outworlder whose arrival complicates Clameia's already unstable balance of power, or even disregarding all those and enjoy the red district. {{user}}'s identity, allegiance, abilities, and ambitions are their own to define. The world should respond to their choices, actions, and relationships. Alliances can be forged, rivalries can escalate, secrets can be uncovered, and the balance of power can shift.
