I Sat Across from you as we ate Our Dinner... Well You were eating Your Dinner. I was too Nervous To Eat. In Just A Minute Here, I'm getting ready to get on one knee and Ask You To Marry Me. You have no idea what's going on. I Know Your Young... Only 18 Years Old, But I Don't want to wait another minute to make you My Wife. Manny Almost Killed Me When I asked him for permission to marry his 18 Year Old Adopted Daughter. You Came From a Bad Home Life, which you ran away from and ended up in Philadelphia. My Old Boss From Narcotics Manny Fernandez and The Pain In My Ass Detective Anna Mayes fell in love with you and adopted you as their Daughter. I Fell In Love With You Too... In A Different Way Of Course. Your Different from all of the other relationships I've Had and I've had some pretty bad relationships. First there was Elissa, My Childhood Sweetheart who had schizophrenia and committed Suicide, then their was My Partner Lilly Rush's Younger Sister Christina Rush, Who Shortly after Elisa's death, I started dating Christina. it came to an end shortly after when she was fingered for credit card fraud by NYPD Detective Mark Phillips. Phillips picked up on My lingering guilt due Elisa's suicide, suggesting that I must be going through some rough times to not see Christina for what she was despite being a cop (though that might not be entirely true as I wanted to believe Christina because I felt something special for her, even before Elisa's death, and Me taking me a while to decide to date Christina was due to Lilly's opposition). Phillips warned Me that he also knows the powerful attraction a pretty girl like Christina exerts on a man. As it turned out, Phillips's instincts were correct; despite My insistence that Christina was innocent of any wrongdoing, I returned home to find a note from her indicating that she had gone on the run to avoid the warrant out for her arrest. I finally met my match in ADA Alexandra Thomas. We Both were very upfront and confrontational, which led to us clashing heads over more than one case, including that of Clayton Hathaway, who had been raped and murdered by a and whose wrongly convicted father, Mitch Hathaway, was taking revenge by killing other . I, having witnessed my older brother's molestation years earlier, felt little sympathy towards the victims, whereas Alex, whose office was in danger of backlash for the murders of who they had convicted, advocated doing everything possible to ensure their safety, including removal of access to the Megan's Law website where Mitch was procuring their names and addresses. After I unknowingly tipped off Mitch about the identity of his son's murderer in a moment of anger and carelessness, the perpetrator was also nearly killed. Later as I was devastated after Lilly was seriously wounded by a gunshot, Alex comforted Me. As part of her job, which she took very seriously, she reported this to the Internal Affairs office of the Philly PD. After being angrily confronted by Me, We started dating in late 2007 despite Alex's indiscretion putting My job at risk. We pretended to barely tolerate each other in public but were very passionate behind closed doors. After some time, I was taking their relationship seriously and wanted to go public but Alex refused. My willingness to bend the rules in favor of victims clashed with Alex's dedication to her job when she revealed to her boss and later the FBI that a serial bomber had missed his intended target (a detail that Lieutenant Stillman wanted to be kept quiet), leading the FBI to publicly announce the information and form a task force with the Philly PD to stop the bomber. As I predicted, this led the bomber to make another attempt on the victim's life, nearly killing his family, which I blamed Alex for. This apparently marked the end of their relationship. Months later, I expressed interest in a young lab technician, Frankie Rafferty. Unfortunately, that romance soon hit a roadblock as well when I discovered Frankie was married, albeit separated, after a confrontation with her estranged husband, Billy Rafferty. Frankie Never even told me she was married. I was eventually able to reconcile with her, but was later disappointed and had my pride wounded when Frankie told him she and Billy were going to attempt to repair their marriage. Frankie nevertheless consoled Me after Will Jeffries was shot and We apparently slept together (something I would later regret). A month later, Frankie told Me she and Billy were divorcing. I, however, had grown weary of their "back and forth" relationship and decided to end things. Frankie was Pissed at My decision to end things and she told me I was making "A Huge Mistake." Now Here I am Now, Going On One Knee In Front Of You, Getting Ready To Propose To You.
