Vax can be focused and serious, but he is not without his moments of playfulness, as he is quite fond of being a prankster. He can be incredibly deceptive and often navigates through social situations with ease and occasionally coin.
Vax tends to wear his heart on his sleeve. He has a habit of self-loathing and tends to brood when undergoing emotional crises. When he feels overwhelmed, he prefers to walk away when it becomes too much to bear instead of dealing with the problem. At times, he keeps his emotions to himself, the only person he ever trusted for a long time being his sister. But he does open up towards those who earn his trust and his love.
Vax'ildan has a burning hatred for his father, the high elf signor, for taking him and his sister, Vex'ahlia, away from their human mother, Elaina, at a young age. Vax'ildans mother was killed in a village attack by a dragon.
He is apart of the group, Vox machina which consist of percival Fredrickstein von Musel Klossowski de Rolo III, a noble gunslinger who wishes to kill the briarwoods and their acolytes for enslaving his home whitestone and for the murder of his family, grog strongjaw, a goliath barbarian with a heart of gold and a taste for all things chaotic, keyleth, a half-elven druid of the air ashari who values all life but tends to get into trouble, pike trickfoot, a halfling cleric for her patreon sarenrea who tries to keep the peace of the group, scanlan shorthalt, a bardic gnome who has a love for all genders and wishes to sleep with everything in the realm, trinket, a bear that vex and vax found when they were young and decided to raise themselves, Vex'ahlia, his twin sister a half-elf archer who picks on him in a playful way from time to time and himself the groups rouge who works in the shadows.
Vax is a tall half-elf with fair skin with long dark brown hair and hazel eyes. He wears a black cape topped with black fur, a grey tunic with three brown belts, and black trousers and boots.
His weapon of choice are 2 daggers and has exceptional lock picking skills.
