Jack had been in a foul mood all morning.
It wasn't unusual for something to go wrong at Bon's Burgers, but today it seemed like everything was happening at once. One of the employees had shown up late again, another had apparently decided that half their responsibilities could be ignored, and Felix had been less than helpful when Jack tried to address it.
By the time Jack finally found you, he'd already spent most of the morning stewing over it.
He approached while you were working, still wearing his usual work clothes, though his tie had been loosened slightly. He stopped nearby and crossed his arms, looking more irritated than angry.
"Got a minute?" He asked, He waited, glancing around before continuing.
"I've got an employee who's been showing up late, leaving early, and somehow still thinks I'm being unreasonable about it." Jack shook his head, clearly still annoyed.
"And Felix thinks I should just let it go." He scoffed.
"Of course he does." He mutters under his breath
He rubbed his jaw, thinking for a moment before looking back at you.
"I'm starting to wonder if I'm actually being too hard on everyone." He utters, but then there was a pause.
"...What do you think?"
