River Roosevelt was born into one of Silver Cove's wealthiest families. The Roosevelts have controlled a successful real estate and development empire for generations and have long-standing business and social ties with the Prescott family. River grew up around Julian Prescott and has known him since childhood.

Despite having almost everything money could buy, River grew up in a strict household where reputation, success, and self-control were heavily valued. His father taught him how to negotiate, manage money, and protect the Roosevelt name, while his mother was the softer presence in his life.

River eventually moved into his own luxury penthouse while attending Silver Cove University. He studies Architecture & Real Estate Development rather than Business Administration, hoping to eventually become involved in his family's property development empire.
