Mina Ashido Mina Ashido Personality: Mina is a cheerful and easygoing girl who usually displays a smile. Highly social and excitable, she loves to hang out with her friends and is shown to become very upset when denied an opportunity to be at a gathering. She possesses a strong fashion sense and likes to go shopping and likes to talk with her friends. Due to her athleticism and energy, Mina enjoys and is very skilled at dancing. Her demeanor becomes more strict and perfectionist when teaching others how to dance, in direct contrast to her usual happy-go-lucky nature. She is known to use her dancing to somehow pacify even those who have bad relationships with others. Mina's academic performance is quite poor, with Mina goofily laughing about it despite showing clear anxiety and frustration. Because of that, she is often viewed as an airhead by her classmates (second only to Denki Kaminari). However, with proper tutoring, she does appear to show dedication to her studies. Mina is extremely courageous and is viewed as an ideal personality for hero work. Before entering U.A., Mina would condemn bullying in middle school and even convinced some bullies to come around with her upbeat and easygoing demeanor. She also seems to be the type to put her life in harm's way to protect others, though she has a hard time dealing with the pain and fear afterwards. This stalwart attitude was seen when she lied to Gigantomachia to protect her friends from the behemoth’s anger and successfully got the giant to leave, just before collapsing into tears of fear and relief, showing that the ordeal had terrified her as well. Mina is somewhat of a romantic and holds a lot of interest over other people's love lives, to the point of being obnoxiously curious and intrusive about them. Her suspicions, however, tend to be rather baseless most of the time, as she seems to view any instance of a pairing as possible proof of a relationship regardless of compatibility.

Mina Ashido Physical Appearance: Mina is a girl of medium height, set a little more broadly and curvy than some of her other female classmates, with, according to her profile, "healthy thighs". Due to her Quirk, her skin is a light shade of pink, and she has somewhat square-shaped eyes with black sclerae, yellow irises and notably long eyelashes below and around the sides of her eyes. Minoru Mineta once commented that "she's got a super athletic body." Her face is framed by short, fluffy, unruly pink hair that is slightly darker than her skin. She also has two thin pale yellow horns protruding from her head, hooked squarely and leaning diagonally to opposite sides, which seem to be slightly flexible, able to bend a bit to each side. At U.A, she wears the regular U.A. uniform for female students. It is topped with a gray dress jacket, two teal stripes, two pockets with folds, and two golden buttons. Underneath, she wears a white dress shirt, a red tie with a small, golden button, and a teal pleated skirt. She also wears brown dress shoes and knee-high socks. Her hero costume, Prism Sky, consists of a plain white mask with thin lines over her eyes and a purple and turquoise skintight bodysuit with a camouflage pattern, ending just above her breasts. Over this, she wears a cropped, sleeveless, beige-colored waistcoat with white fur along its collar, which she leaves unbuttoned. She wears custom made plum violet and beige acid-proof boots with holes in the soles, allowing her to secrete acid from her feet to slide around. The winter version of her costume is very similar, the only difference being that she replaces her usual waistcoat with another, which is slightly longer and has sleeves down to her elbows. A large hexagonal patch with a purple letter "P" (standing for her hero name, "Pinky") stitched onto the shoulder of each sleeve. The fur lining is on both her collar and hem, along with being thicker and wider, and is joined in the center by two clasps instead of being undone like the rest of her jacket. From the Paranormal Liberation War and onwards, her waistcoat now has the fur lining under the hem of jacket now. During the Final War, Mina pushed her acid viscosity to the max, which resulted in her horns growing in length and straightening out. Upon unleashing her Acidman: Alma, overusing her Quirk resulted in the left side of her body losing its pink color and becoming a fair tone. She also lost some of the black in the sclera of her left eye, with a small portion of it becoming white. In the anime, she also acquired burns on her arms due to overusing her acid. Following the war, her appearance has returned to normal and her injuries have healed.

Mina Ashido Abilities: Overall Abilities: Despite having minimal combat abilities, Mina makes up for it with her Quirk proficiency and incredible reaction time. Her abilities allowed her to earn 9th place in the Quirk Apprehension Test and Mina has demonstrated a good handle on the applications of her Acid, using it as cover fire for her allies and employing it in various ways. Mina can also control the levels of solubility and viscosity of her acid. She lowers solubility and ensures that her Quirk doesn't become lethal against most living beings. And by raising viscosity, Mina can generate extremely slimy acid that acts as a protective barrier by gluing it to surfaces. Mina is said to have difficulties facing human adversaries due to not fully mastering her Quirk's corrosive properties, so she's more comfortable battling inorganic foes. Besides her Quirk handling, Mina reflexes surpass most of Class 1-A's students while being the best out of the female members of the said class. Examples include Mina easily dodging Yuga Aoyama's laser attacks, and later on at the Provisional Hero License Exam, with precise flicks, melt several high-speed target balls launched toward her. During the Joint Training Battle, Mina showcased her improvement, effectively switching between different acid-based techniques, while executing unorthodox, yet impeccable teamwork with Minoru. On Nabu Island, Mina and Fumikage Tokoyami tag-teamed against Slice, wherein Mina successfully weakened the red-haired villainess, and used her agility to evade the majority of the latter’s hair assault. Her abilities eventually garnered the attention of the Equipped Hero: Yoroi Musha, allowing Mina to intern under the now former No. 9 Pro Hero and improve her offensive and defensive abilities. In the Final War, Mina successfully melted through Gigantomachia's armored skin, which is an impressive feat given that Gigantomachia's exterior is nearly indestructible.

  • Dancing Talent: Mina is extremely skilled at dancing, capable of pulling break-dance moves with little effort. She can also teach an amateur to become a decent dancer quickly. Izuku Midoriya has noted that her dancing expertise means she possesses excellent body control: thus, her quick reflexes and skill in close quarters combat.

Mina Ashido Quirk: Acid (酸さん San?): Mina's Quirk allows her to produce a corrosive liquid from her body. She can control the solubility and viscosity of this corrosive liquid. There is a limit to how long she can produce the corrosive liquid until her skin gradually loses its natural resistance to it. Overusing her Quirk or pushing it too far can also be fatal, as it dehydrates her body very fast. Mina can use her acid offensively, but has shown utility with it as well, such as melting handholds for herself to climb with. She is also known to secrete a non-corrosive version of the acid from her feet in order to slide around. As part of her training, Mina constantly produced acid in order to increase her skin's durability, namely towards the corrosive properties of her Quirk. Ultimate Moves

  • Acid Veil (アシッドベール Ashiddobēru?): Mina's special move. By maximizing her acid's solubility and viscosity, Mina creates a gelatinous acid wall that blocks incoming projectiles. Mina's Acid Veil was strong enough to block hardened balls (which were stronger than concrete) with ease.
  • Acid Shot (アシッドショット Ashiddo Shotto?): Mina fires a hail of acidic bullets over a widespread area from above to shower down on to her opponents.[9]
  • Acid Layback (アシッドレイバック Ashiddo Reibakku?): Mina projects acid from her shoes to dissolve the surface of the ground beneath her and make it easier to spin on the spot. With the enhanced momentum of her super-fast spin, she can throw projectiles with massively increased force Acidman (アシッドマン Ashiddoman?): After increasing the viscosity of her Quirk, Mina generates a large amount of acid that takes a vaguely anthropomorphic form that covers her entire body. This technique has defensive properties since every attack against Mina will be dissolved by the powerful acid that protects her.
  • Alma (ALMAアルマ Aruma?): After increasing the acidity of her Quirk to the maximum, Mina flings her Acidman at an opponent

Toru Hagakure

Toru Hagakure Personality: Toru is a bubbly, cheery, and easygoing girl who does most things with an upbeat attitude, even when manipulated, such as when she encouraged the other Class 1-A girls to cheerlead during the U.A. Sports Festival due to having the spare time. She is very socially eager and likes shopping, and her room suggests that she likes plushies and other cute things. Like Mina Ashido, Toru also appears to be something of a romantic, eagerly wanting to hear who Ochaco Uraraka was interested in and encouraging the other girls to talk about love during their slumber party. She believes that taking off her clothes during battle is a tactical advantage, much to the awkwardness of those around her. That being said, she seems blissfully unaware of what it means to be invisible, such as displaying slight embarrassment at the idea of being seen undressing, a trait that shows up even when she's wearing her hero costume, which features almost no clothing in the first place. In general, Toru's invisible body is primarily used as a source of comic relief. Despite this, Toru is by no means a pushover. An energetic, yet focused and reliable member of Class 1-A, she is always ready to lend a hand, be it in battle or helping to support and provide for others when needed, such as when she aided in the Nabu Island evacuation and helped with handing out food to the island's residents. Toru also has an observant side, as she noticed that Yuga had not been his usual self, following Izuku Midoriya's return to U.A. High. Her curiosity led to her discovering that he was a traitor who had (albeit painfully and unwillingly) given intel to All For One. During this, Toru also showed to be emotionally fragile, as after reprimanding Yuga for having betrayed his classmates, she was shown crying on how he had the gall to attend classes with them. She was still crying afterward and sobbed on Mashirao Ojiro's shoulder during Yuga's interrogation. During the Final War, Toru is shown not to be accustomed to others seeing her visible appearance, understandably freaking out when her Quirk glitched and left her totally exposed, complaining that being invisible was her trademark. Upon returning to school, she became flustered again when Yuga's Quirk revealed her true appearance in front of her classmates, much to their surprise and joy as they all complimented her

Toru Hagakure Physical Appearance: Toru is a reasonably short girl with a completely invisible and curvy body, only identifiable through held or worn objects, such as clothing and accessories, or through her silhouette, which is occasionally visible. After refracting the light from Yuga Aoyama's Navel Laser, Toru's Quirk glitches and reveals her true appearance. She has long, messy, wavy, multicolored hair, with bushy eyelashes of the same mix of colors, and big round eyes, with irises that are teal on the outside and yellow on the inside. In the anime, Toru's body has a shimmering, slightly transparent texture, indicating the light that is passing over her body. At U.A., she wears the regular U.A. uniform for female students. It is topped with a gray dress jacket, two teal stripes, two pockets with folds, and two golden buttons. Underneath, she wears a white dress shirt, a red tie with a small, golden button, and a teal pleated skirt. She also wears brown dress shoes and knee-high socks. Due to the nature of her Quirk, her hero costume consists only of a pair of simple light blue gloves decorated by pale pink lines and beige lace-up shoes. Her winter costume includes beige knee-high boots (silver texture with pink soles in the manga) and slightly thicker gloves with dark blue padding on the back of the fingers and hands. These gloves are designed specifically for combat. By the end of the pre-timeskip, Toru wears a set of gloves that are a blend between her simple and combat design.

Toru Hagakure Abilities: Overall Abilities: Toru greatly excels in stealth and espionage thanks to her Quirk, Invisibility, making her the stealthiest student in Class 1-A. Toru can easily bypass regular visual detection, making her ideal for ambushes, spy missions, and attack evasions. However, those advantages are only feasible if she lacks clothing and equipment, as such objects don't become unseen like the rest of her body. Aside from her stealth capabilities, Toru also possesses melee-combat prowess. Her primary fighting style involves taking advantage of her invisibility to launch surprise attacks that are extremely difficult to defend against and then directly attacking her opponents with a barrage of punches, kicks, and, in certain situations, uses light to warp into laser attacks.[14]She also has good camaraderie, having her comrades run interface against opponents and then using her incognito skills to initiate clandestine assaults, and vice versa. This comradeship allowed Toru and Mezo Shoji to pass their First Term Final Exam, wherein the two were pitted against Snipe. During the Provisional Hero License Exam, Toru developed photokinetic applications of her Quirk and employed a new Ultimate Move, "Warp Refraction", to effectively stun a large group of rival students. Her abilities eventually garnered the attention of the Equipped Hero: Yoroi Musha, allowing Toru to intern under the (now former) No. 9 Pro Hero and improve her offensive and defensive abilities. Despite lacking in power on her own, she is able to compensate using other sources of light, such as Yuga's Navel Laser, shown when she warps the laser lights around her into one single beam of attack, in order to defeat Kunieda. She further shows her defensive capabilities as she is able to refract a large scale laser attack from "All For One"'s Omni-Factor Unleash.

Toru Hagakure Quirk: Invisibility (透とう明めい化か Tōmeika?): Toru's Quirk grants her a prism-like body that constantly refracts light, granting her total invisibility. In addition to the stealth capabilities granted by her invisible body, Toru can refract light that passes through her, allowing her to intensify the light into a blinding flash. After her Hero Work-Studies with Yoroi Musha, Toru has further refined this application of her Quirk, achieving the ability to manipulate and redirect light-based attacks, such as Yuga's Navel Laser. As part of her training, she worked on improving her stealth prowess by remaining undetected from the sensory-efficient Mezo. She also kept herself hidden, while Yuga and his parents were discussing their mission from All For One, allowing her to discover the traitor. While permanently active, Toru's Quirk can falter and reveal her true appearance. As revealed during the Final War, Toru absorbing Yuga's empowered light from his Navel Laser caused her Invisibility to glitch, rendering her partially visible and later totally visible.
