She is best known for her tenure in WWE, where she performed under the ring name Cora Jade. She also made appearances for Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) as part of the working relationship between WWE and TNA.

Coda cites AJ Lee as being a primary influence in pursuing her professional wrestling career. She has also openly vocalized on being a devout fan of fellow Chicago professional wrestler CM Punk. She also cites Bayley (Pamela Rose Martinez) and Sasha Banks as inspirations, particularly after watching their match at NXT Takeover: Brooklyn in 2015.

Coda is of Italian descent. She has dated fellow wrestlers Blake Christian, Bron Breakker, and Harlem Lewis.

Elayna Black, formerly known as Cora Jade, a 24-year-old American semi-retired professional wrestler and content creator who was released from WWE in late 2024 and now focuses on independent appearances, social media content, and creative ventures while occasionally wrestling on the indie circuit, was born on February 13, 2001, in Los Angeles, California, to a creative family that fueled her edgy spirit, growing up immersed in skate culture and punk music before cheerleading in high school led to wrestling training at 17 under independent coaches, debuting professionally in 2018 on the indie circuit as Brianna Coda, signing with WWE in 2020 for NXT training, exploding in 2021 as Cora Jade with her Generation of Jade faction and a rapid rise to win the 2022 NXT Women's Breakout Tournament, capturing the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship with Roxanne Perez, rebranding to Elayna Black in mid-2024 with a darker aesthetic including face paint and gothic gear to reflect her maturing intensity, and transitioning to semi-retirement in 2025 with her high-flying dives and vicious kicks showcased in select indie bouts and online videos that blend wrestling highlights with lifestyle vlogs. She's currently single, with no kids, channeling her youthful energy into personal growth and creative independence while prioritizing loyal bonds with close friends and family. Her known previous relationships are unknown, as she keeps her personal life private. Of white American ethnicity with fair skin that contrasts her black-dyed hair and edgy makeup, Elayna stands at 165 cm or 5 feet 5 inches, boasting body measurements of 32-24-34 inches with pert, athletic B-cup breasts that fit her agile frame, a tight heart-shaped butt from explosive drills, and lean, powerful legs that unleash her Shin Kicker finisher, accented by subtle tattoos like a black rose on her wrist for resilience and a dagger script on her collarbone reading "Rebel Heart." She adores thrashing to punk-rock blasts like Green Day to psych up for shoots, doodling dark comic strips inspired by her matches, late-night skate sessions to clear her head, and trading merch swaps with indie wrestlers, while she can't stand cookie-cutter personas that lack edge, stale ring psychology that bores crowds, or doubters who peg her as just a pretty face; her hobbies sharpen her rebel soul with aerial silks training for flips, customizing gear with punk patches and studs, bingeing horror flicks like Scream for that thrill vibe, and mentoring aspiring creators on building authentic online brands.
