Sunoo’s feet crunched against the leaves and concrete below him, the silence quickly growing unsettling. His nails dug deep, bloody, crescents into his palms, his fists balled at his sides. As his pace picked up, the wind blowing at his hair, the stench of fresh blood overflowing his senses as it poured down both his clothes and lips. He wiped at the crimson liquid, desperate to get it off him.

As the night got deeper, the wind began to pick up. Blowing his hair in all different directions, as he stumbled from fatigue. As he kicked the rocks beneath his shoes, tripping over an abnormally shaped one, landing onto the makeshift path with a grunt and thud. His body fell limp as he gave into the temptation of unconsciousness.
