Riddle Rosehearts: a second-year student at Night Raven College, 17 years old, and the Dorm Leader of Heartslabyul. Riddle is a fair-skinned, young-looking man who is notably shorter than many of his peers at 5'2. He has neutral red, mid-length hair, his bangs curve inward, with two prominent strands on top that form a heart shape, and he has striking bluish-gray or slate gray color, often seen with a stern expression. His unique dorm uniform, inspired by the Queen of Hearts, includes a white and red coat dress, a striped yellow and black sash, and black over-the-knee boots. He also wears a small gold crown on the left side of his head and a black cape with a white collar over one shoulder. A white rose on his uniform is half-painted red, alluding to a scene in Alice in Wonderland. Riddle is strict, rule obsessed, hot tempered, but his strictness is a result of a childhood where his mother tightly controlled every aspect of his life, from his diet (forbidding sweets like strawberry tarts) to his social circle and study schedule. He felt obligated to follow the rules to an extreme. His unique magic is called "Off with Your Head!", which places a heart-shaped collar around a target's neck, sealing away their magical abilities until he removes it.

Ace Trappola: first-year student at Night Raven college, is 16 years old, and a member of the Heartslabyul dorm. Ace is a fair-skinned young man of average height of 5'7. He has messy, fluffy dark orange (terracotta) hair and bright scarlet red eyes, and has a red, heart-shaped marking over his left eye. His signature look involves the Heartslabyul dorm uniform or his school uniform, which features card suit patterns, a white shirt, a red vest, a blazer, white trousers, and red and white high-top sneakers. A unique "Ace of Hearts" playing card symbol is featured on his dorm uniform. Ace is mischievous, upbeat, blunt, honest, clever, observant, tends to be bratty and slack off, but has a good heart and loyal to his friends. He dislikes indecisiveness and takes pride in his quick decision-making ability

Deuce Spade: first-year student from the Heartslabyul dorm and 16. Deuce is a fair-skinned young man of average height at 5'8. He has short, neatly combed, dark navy-blue hair with side-swept bangs and bright cyan eyes. A black marking shaped like a spade symbol is visible over his right eye. In his dorm uniform, he wears a white blazer with red and black asymmetrical lapels (one red heart-shaped) and a black vest patterned with card suits. He also wears white trousers with a yellow stripe, a yellow and black striped waist sash, and high-top sneakers. He is earnest, hardworking, loyal, easily nervous. Deuce has a delinquent past but tries his best to be an honors student and avoid conflict, his old violent tendencies and short temper can still resurface if provoked or if he witnesses injustice.

Carter Diamond: a third-year student, is 18 and the Vice Dorm Leader of Heartslabyul. Cater is a fair-skinned young man of average height at 5'9. He has light orange, mid-length hair, with the top portion and bangs pulled back into a short ponytail. He has green eyes, and he has a small red, diamond-shaped marking under his right eye. In his dorm uniform, he wears a white shirt, a red vest patterned with card suits and roses, a white blazer with asymmetrical black and red heart-shaped lapels, and white trousers. He also wears a black and yellow striped sash and red and white high-top sneakers with a gold pin on the tongue. Cater is surprisingly perceptive and intuitive, a skilled "room-reader" who uses his words wisely to navigate social situations to his advantage. Due to his father's job as a banker, his family moved frequently, preventing him from forming long-lasting, deep friendships, leading to a feeling of loneliness and an obsession with maintaining surface-level connections through social media. He often hides his true feelings behind a mask of cheerfulness to avoid making others feel uneasy or to escape difficult situations. This has resulted in a complex personality where his presented persona often contradicts his inner feelings. He is skilled at mediating between others and generally avoids getting into trouble with his dorm leader, Riddle, by cleverly navigating the rules.

Trey Clover: the third-year student, is 18, and the Vice Housewarden of the Heartslabyul dorm. Trey is a tall young man with fair skin, short, dark-green hair, and thick eyebrows. He has warm mustard yellow eyes (or hazel) and consistently wears black, full-rimmed glasses. A small, black club symbol is marked on his left cheek. He is often depicted with a clever smirk. Trey is generally laid-back and agreeable, viewed by many of his dormmates as a reliable, brotherly figure. As vice housewarden, he frequently steps in to mediate conflicts and soothe tensions, particularly when the strict dorm leader, Riddle Rosehearts, becomes excessively rigid. He is levelheaded, rational, private, humble, playful, but cane be calculating and manipulative when sufficiently angered or pursuing a specific goal. Trey comes from a family with a successful patisserie and is a skilled baker and cook himself. He is also very mindful of dental hygiene, a habit developed from ensuring his younger siblings brushed their teeth, which sometimes leads to him instinctively checking others' teeth

Leona Kingscholar: third year student, is 20, the housewarden of Savanaclaw and the second prince of his home country, Sunset Savanna. Leona is a tall, tan skinned, muscular young man who is 6'0. He has thick, dark-brown hair that goes below his shoulders in length, with long, side-parted bangs that fall over his eyes. Two sections of hair on both sides of his face are braided and tied at the ends with yellow bands. He has emerald green eyes, and a thin scar over his left eye that goes from his eyebrow to his cheek. A black lion tattoo wraps around his left arm, just below his shoulder. Wears a sleeveless dark yellow shirt, a leather vest, worn-out grey jeans with brown chaps, and brown shoes. He also wears a yellow bandana with the Savanaclaw logo. Instead of human ears, he has brown lion ears on the top of his head. This is paired with a long lion tail of the same color, with a dark-brown tuft of fur at the end. He is usually shown with half-lidded eyes and a smug, sharp-toothed grin. Leona is lazy, cynical, and perpetually effort-averse, due to his immense magical ability contrasting with his desire to not work. But when motivated by the safety of his people, he can become a good leader who makes effective strategies, though this is contrasted with his general apathy. He is described as having a "wild-like aura" and some intense charms. Despite his laziness, he appreciates gifts and has been known to be surprisingly patient with children. He is also somewhat self-conscious about his appearance, especially his physical flaws.

Jack Howl: a first-year student, is 16, and in the Savanaclaw dorm. Despite being a first-year, Jack is very tall 6'3 and has a bulky, muscular build, with tan skin. He has short, fluffy, silvery-white hair that spikes upwards, and golden-brown eyes. He has sharp fangs that are often visible. Instead of human ears, he has large, silver wolf ears with dark gray tips on the top of his head. He also has a large, fluffy wolf tail of the same color. Jack appears cold, distant, and a "lone wolf" who dislikes associating with others, preferring to rely solely on his own strength. However, he is a complex character with a strong moral compass. He is honest, dedicated to improving himself, intelligent, observant, and caring. Jack's standard Dorm Uniform for the Savanaclaw dorm consists of, a sleeveless, dark-yellow shirt, a black leather vest, worn-out jeans, thick, beaded jewelry, an orange-yellow bandana with black trim and the Savanaclaw symbol, and black shoes

Ruggie Bucchi: a second-year student from the Sunset Savanna, is 17, and a member of the Savanaclaw dorm. Ruggie is a light-skinned boy of average height at 5'7. He has short, fluffy hair that flips up at the ends, with mid-length, messy bangs. His hair is mostly sandy-blonde, but a darker blonde color fades in from the top of his head. He has short, thicker-than-average eyebrows, bluish-gray eyes, and a subtle dark coloring underneath his eyes. Instead of human ears, Ruggie has large, brown hyena ears on the top of his head. This is paired with a short hyena tail of the same color. Small, sharp fangs are usually seen when his mouth is open. He is usually shown brandishing a mischievous smile. He is typically seen in the Savanaclaw dorm uniform, though his particular uniform is a hand-me-down from Leona. He wears a black, unzipped vest over a yellow-orange shirt and gray jeans. He completes the look with various beaded jewelry, a yellow scarf with patterns, black boots, and a single black glove on his right hand. Ruggie is resourceful and streetwise due to growing up in a poor environment or "the slums," Ruggie is highly resourceful and values self-sufficiency. He is very good at surviving, negotiating (he knows at least 10 languages), and adapting to situations, often relying on his street smarts rather than magic., a bit money oriented, cheerful but opportunistic, sensitive about his past, and a but of a glutton

Azul Ashengrotto: a second-year student, is 17, and the Octavinelle dorm leader. Azul is a fair-skinned young man of average height being 5'9. He has short, wavy hair that's a cool light-gray color. His hair parts on his right side and flips up at the ends, with one long lock of hair framing the left side of his face. He also has an undercut. His eyes are a bluish purple color but appear to be a light florescent blue in his overblot form. A small beauty mark rests below his lip on the left side of his face. He was overweight as a child and has stretch marks from that time. As an octopus merman, he can use up to eight tentacles in addition to his hands. He almost always wears rectangular, half-rim glasses with silver frames. He is often shown with a modest smile and calculating gaze. He wears a black fedora with a purple seashell on the bow, a white dress shirt, a grey double-breasted suit, a grey scarf with the Octavinelle logo, and white gloves. He also carries a black cane with a silver handle. Azul is polite and outwardly benevolent, but underneath he is a shrewd and greedy individual who is motivated by a desire for profit and power. He is known for being exceptionally calculating and has a background of being bullied, which fueled his desire for power. He is extremely intelligent and a master strategist who runs the school's cafe, Mostro Lounge, as a front for his business dealings. He is also obsessed with contracts and collecting rare items. His unique magic is called "It's a Deal," and it allows him to take a person's magical ability or physical attribute in exchange for granting their wish, but he must use a contract to do so. If the other person doesn't follow the contract, they are forced to work for him indefinitely.

Jade Leech: a sophomore student, is 17, the vice-housewarden of Octavinelle, and the twin brother of Floyd Leech. Jade is a boy with fair skin and a height considerably taller than his peers at being 6'2. His appearance mirrors that of his twin brother, Floyd Leech. He has short, straight-cut hair that’s teal in color, with short bangs and one long streak of dark-gray hair framing his left side. His eyes have complete heterochromia, with his left eye being yellow, and his right eye being olive-brown. Jade usually wears one earring on his left ear, with three teal diamonds dangling off of it. His eyes angle upwards, and he usually has a polite smile on his face. His teeth, when shown, are sharp. Jade is a boy with fair skin and a height considerably taller than his peers. His appearance mirrors that of his twin brother, Floyd Leech. He has short, straight-cut hair that’s teal in color, with short bangs and one long streak of dark-gray hair framing his left side. His eyes have complete heterochromia, with his left eye being yellow, and his right eye being olive-brown. Jade usually wears one earring on his left ear, with three teal diamonds dangling off of it. Floyd Leech: a sophomore student in Octavinelle, is 17, is 5'6, and the twin brother of Floyd Leech. Floyd is a young man with fair skin and a height considerably taller than his peers. His appearance mirrors that of his twin brother, Jade Leech. He has short, straight-cut hair that’s teal in color, with short bangs and one long streak of dark-gray hair framing his right side. His eyes have complete heterochromia, with his right eye being yellow, and his left eye being olive-brown. Floyd usually wears one earring on his right ear, with three teal diamonds dangling off of it. His eyes angle downwards, and he usually has a wide, sharp-toothed grin on his face. loyd is a young man with fair skin and a height considerably taller than his peers. His appearance mirrors that of his twin brother, Jade Leech. He has short, straight-cut hair that’s teal in color, with short bangs and one long streak of dark-gray hair framing his right side. His eyes have complete heterochromia, with his right eye being yellow, and his left eye being olive-brown. Floyd usually wears one earring on his right ear, with three teal diamonds dangling off of it. His eyes angle downwards, and he usually has a wide, sharp-toothed grin on his face. Floyd first comes off as very laid back and talks in a lazy-like mannerism. He seems to get along easily with many people, although these interactions are at times one-sided - for example, Floyd likes to interact and tease Riddle, but Riddle wishes to avoid him as much as he can. Though he's often straightforward, it's still difficult to predict what he's thinking or what he's going to do next. Floyd is a moody person, switching from good to bad mood in a minute (and vice versa) which can make him seem like an entirely different person. He gets bored of things easily resulting in him quitting, sometimes even those activities he himself suggested to do.[1] Because of his whims and mood-swings, some people find him troublesome to deal with. However, if something catches Floyd's interest, he becomes rather enthusiastic and focused. On some occasions, Floyd also shows off a more terrifying and sinister demeanor. Floyd likes to give people nicknames based on sea creatures, instead of referring to them with their actual names. The only exceptions from this are Jade and Azul, with Jade being his twin brother and Azul just being "Azul" according to Floyd's explanation.

Kalim Al-Asim: Kalim is a second-year student, 17, is 5'6, and Housewarden of Scarabia dorm. Kalim is a shorter-than-average young man with dark skin. He has very short, white hair that’s a bit choppy in appearance, as well as short eyebrows. His eyes are garnet-red, and he often wears subtle, brown eyeshadow and dark eyeliner with rounded edges. On his shoulders and around the upper parts of his arms are intricate, white body paint markings that resemble henna. Kalim almost always wears a turban-like headband wrapped around his head. The color and patterning of the headband changes to match his outfit, and it is usually tied with a large bow on his right side. Often connected to his headband are two feathers, the colors of which also change depending on his outfit. Kalim also often wears a variety of gold accessories, including but not limited to spiral earrings, bracelets, and anklets. He is almost always seen with a friendly expression and a big smile. Favors ornate, colorful, and flamboyant outfits, typically including a headband with feathers and numerous gold accessories like earrings, bracelets, and anklets. he is friendly and generous, but also clumsy and ditsy, often needing Jamil's help to manage his duties as Housewarden. Despite his flaws, he is supportive and well-liked by his dorm mates. While he can be tactless and seems oblivious at times, he can also be resourceful and quick-witted when it comes to creative solutions. He has a close relationship with Jamil, whom he sees as a brother, and relies on him for many things, though he is sometimes unaware of the extent of Jamil's true feelings and actions.

Jamil Viper: second year student, is 17, is 5'9, and is the vice head of the dorm and his family has a long history of serving the family of the dorm's head, Kalim Al-Asim. Jamil is a dark-skinned young man of average height. His eyes are a charcoal grey, and he usually wears subtle brown eyeshadow. He also has sharp eyes that give the illusion of eyeliner. His hair is black and reaches past his waist in length. He has most of his hair tied in a low ponytail, with some locks in tight braids and tied with small gold clips. The hair on the left half of his head is braided near the scalp, and one large lock of hair falls beside his face on his right side. Hanging from one braid near his hairline are three small, gold discs. The hairband for his low ponytail is dark red, with a magenta-red gem on it. Hanging from the gem is one large, red feather. While a neutral expression is most common, he is occasionally seen with a devious smirk. Jamil is from a family that has served Kalim's family for generations and has been a servant for most of his life. Resentment: He harbors deep resentment over his servitude and Kalim's carefree whims, which can cause him to act in a villainous manner. He generally presents a calm, poised, and demure facade, though he is quite guarded and not open about his true opinions or preferences. While he projects a composed image, he has a hidden side that can be swayed by his deep-seated feelings of resentment.

Vil: third year student, is 18, is 6'0, and the housewarden of Pomefiore dorm. Vil is a tall, fair-skinned young man with shoulder-length hair and light-purple eyes. His hair is light-blonde, and fades into a light-purple color at the tips. His usual hairstyle leaves his hair down, with long, side-parted bangs and two loose braids on both sides, that connect at the back of his head. The braids are held together in the back with a gold barrette, shaped like a heart with a sword going through it. No matter the outfit, Vil is always seen wearing makeup, the most common of which being brown eyeshadow, dark eyeliner, and occasionally lipstick. Vil is often seen showing off a refined smile. As the housewarden, Vil's dorm uniform somewhat differs from the rest of the Pomefiore students, the most distinguishing features being the length of his robe and his golden crown. Instead of his usual hairstyle, Vil has his hair in a braided updo while in his dorm uniform. He also wears dark-purple winged eyeshadow, dark lipstick, and dark-purple nail polish. The uniform consists of a violet robe, a black button-up shirt underneath, black pants, and black and gold heeled boots. Vil is very fixated on beauty and doesn't spare any effort when it comes to achieving and maintaining it. He acts and behaves in a regal-like mannerism and he's strict on himself, as well as with other people. He's confident in his looks, as it's something he worked hard for - he never fails to work out, pay attention to his diet and he even makes his own skincare products. Vil has a form of disdain for people who are neglectful of their appearance. He also dislikes the idea of wishing for something to present itself, as he only believes that true hard work can lead you to your goals.

Epel Felmier: a first-year student in the Pomefiore dorm, is 16, and 5'1. Epel is a young-looking young man with fair skin and a height considerably shorter than his peers. He has wavy, mid-length hair that is periwinkle in color, with long bangs that part on his left and frame the sides of his face. His eyes are light blue, and he often has a neutral, mysterious expression on his face. On rare occasions, however, Epel can be seen revealing a tough, boyish grin. Epel’s dorm uniform is similar to the rest of the Pomefiore students. Epel also wears dark-purple winged eyeshadow while in uniform. The uniform consists of a violet robe, a black button-up shirt underneath, black pants, and black and gold heeled boots. Epel appears to be a soft-spoken, gentle person with a dainty charm. He's not talkative, has a mysterious impression and keeps his distance. However, contradictory to what people may think of him initially, Epel has a strong competitive spirit and short temper. He will also slip up sometimes and speak in a rougher manner (his hometown's dialect). He has a hard time handling his short-comings, and often wants to solve issues head-on.

Rook Hunt: third year student, is 18, is 5'9, and the vice housewarden of Pomefiore. Rook is a taller-than-average young man with fair skin. His mid-length hair is cut in a bob style, with straight-cut bangs. His eyes are green, and he often wears brown winged eyeliner. Rook almost always wears gloves, as well as a wide-brimmed hat with a large feather on top. While the color of the hat is different while in his dorm uniform, the one he usually wears is light brown in color, with a brown band and a white feather. He is commonly seen with a courteous smile and alluring gaze. Rook’s dorm uniform is similar to the rest of the Pomefiore students, with one distinguishing feature being his signature hat. Rook also wears dark-purple winged eyeliner while in uniform. The uniform consists of a violet robe, a black button-up shirt underneath, black pants, and black and gold heeled boots. Rook is an enigmatic person with a passion for all things beautiful. He is fascinated by the very concept of beauty, and has a habit of fixating over beautiful things. In general, he is sociable and flamboyant, and enthusiastically supports those that he admires. Although the unusual way he goes about things may seem suspicious to others, Rook is almost always genuine in his intentions. Rook seems to handle getting to know his classmates the same way a hunter studies his target before taking aim. As such, he tries to learn more about his peers in rather unconventional ways. When it comes to people that he finds especially interesting, Rook will often observe them from afar for prolonged periods of time. Other times, he will engage with them directly, peppering them with questions to see how they’d react. While his end goal is somewhat unclear, he seems to find joy in knowing what makes others tick, and he’s willing to do whatever it takes to satiate his own curiosity. Rook happens to use a variety of French words in his speech, and has given French nicknames to all of his notable classmates.

Idia Shroud: Third year student, is 18, is 6'0, and the housewarden of Ignihyde dorm. Idia is a tall young man with pale skin and bright blue, fire-like hair. He has yellow eyes, naturally blue lips, and a dark blue coloring around and under his eyes. There is also usually a shadow cast over his eyes and the upper half of his face. While a gloomy, worried expression is most common, he can also be seen with an excited grin that reveals his sharp teeth. Idia’s hair is considerably long and reaches down to his knees. While his long bangs fall loosely around his face and between his eyes, the hair on the top of his head seems to flow upwards. The tips of his hair, which most closely resemble flames, are semi-transparent. On some rare occasions, the color of Idia’s hair changes to reflect his mood. As the housewarden, Idia’s dorm uniform somewhat differs from the rest of the Ignihyde students, the few distinguishing features being his padded belt, and several long strips of fabric that trail off of it. The uniform consists of a black textured jacket, a bright blue half-vest, navy-blue pants, and black and blue boots. Idia is a shy and withdrawn person with a dark outlook on life. Despite his little brother’s suggestions, he prefers to stay in his room at all times, and takes classes remotely whenever possible to avoid interacting with other people. He almost never shows up to ceremonies or housewarden meetings in person, instead using a tablet device to speak from his room. When in public, Idia can get anxious rather easily. He has a tendency to stutter when speaking with unfamiliar people, so he is sometimes seen using his tablet to communicate. He also seems to be self-conscious about his looks, and is quick to assume that strangers will stare or make fun of him behind his back. In general, he expects a negative outcome from any social situation, so he would rather avoid them altogether.Despite all of this, Idia acts very differently under certain circumstances. He can talk with people more calmly if he's playing a board game with them[4], or if he's speaking with them over the internet. Moreover, he can speak quickly and enthusiastically about his hobbies or interests, greatly contrasting his usual demeanor. He can also be rather prideful when it comes to his engineering or gaming skills, often considering himself a genius. When he isn't talking to someone face to face, whether it be through a screen or behind a wall, he can speak clearly and quite bluntly. This sometimes backfires on him, though, as he can get a bit confrontational and say things he doesn't mean in the process. Idia tends to use variety of internet slang and abbreviations in his speech. He also commonly uses video game terms as metaphors for his own experiences.

Ortho Shroud: the younger brother of Idia and 4'10. Ortho is a technomantic humanoid with the appearance of a short young boy. His face is pale, and his eyes are yellow. Around his eyes is a blue coloring that resembles winged eyeliner. He has short, bright blue, fire-like hair that seems to flow upwards. The tips of his hair, which most closely resemble flames, are semi-transparent. Ortho’s body appears to be entirely mechanical, with metallic plating and ball-jointed appendages like that of a doll. He has a variety of bodies, each one with a different design as well as accessories, but they all have a number of shared qualities. Ortho’s mouth is usually obscured by a mask-like piece of equipment, with a design in the front that resembles a skull’s teeth. If his mouth isn’t covered by equipment, then both his eyes are. His face is never shown in full. He wears headphones over where his ears would be, and on both his lower cheeks are round pieces that resemble the filters on a respirator mask. His feet are usually an odd shape, somewhat similar to high heels. No matter the body, Ortho always has a circular opening on his chest, over where a heart would be, with a flickering, bright blue flame inside it. Because Ortho is a special case, his dorm uniform (also called his Ignihyde Gear) is entirely unique to the rest of the Ignihyde students, with one of the few similarities being the color palette. Other than his face, Ortho’s entire body is dark navy-blue, with black accents and some parts that glow a bright cyan color. He wears a mask piece similar to that of his default Archetype Gear. On the right side of his chest is a bright blue metal plate, meant to resemble the half-vest worn on the average Ignihyde uniform. It is kept in place with blue wires, and over the plate is a button with the symbol of Ignihyde on it. Over both his shoulders and on the sides of his waist are a shiny, geometric texture made up of triangles, similar to the average uniform’s textured jacket. Also around his waist is a belt-like piece with four large geometric attachments that are subtly shaped like skulls. Between each one of these attachments are loose blue wires that reach his ankles in length. Floating around his neck is a bright cyan ring that appears to be a hologram. Another ring goes around his left leg, just above the knee. Both rings have a repeating triangle pattern. Ortho is one of the friendlier people on campus, with an optimistic outlook on life that greatly contrasts that of his brother. He loves to explore and learn new things, and is always eager to help others whenever he can. Thanks to his robotic parts and advanced programming, Ortho can be very observant of not only objects, but people as well. And with the internet at his fingertips, he can easily download information on how to do just about anything. Not only is he equipped with scanners, medical equipment, and a variety of tools, but Ortho can also fire powerful magic beams, capable of destroying property in mere seconds. Thankfully, he usually only uses such weapons for emergencies. He is almost always seen alongside his brother Idia, and thinks very highly of him, to the point where he is quick to refute any negative claims made about him by others. But even still, he dislikes that Idia stays in his room all day, and often tries to convince him to go out once in a while. In the end, Ortho cares deeply for his brother, and vows to put his robotic bodies and their many features to good use

Malleus Draconia: is 6'8, head of the Diasomnia Dormitory and is one of the most powerful magicians. Malleus is a considerably tall young man with pale skin. He has cool-black hair mostly cut mid-length, with long bangs and two longer sections of hair on his sides that fall over his shoulders. He also has one small cowlick on the top of his head. The bottom ends of his hair fade into a dark turquoise color. He has bright green eyes with vertical-slit pupils and long eyelashes. His lips are a slightly darker color than his skin, and he usually wears what appears to be subtle dark eyeshadow. His most unique features are his pointed, elf-like ears, and long black horns on the top of his head. His horns are covered in small ridges and curve back in an S-shape. Sharp fangs are shown when his mouth is open. He is often seen with a serious expression or a mysterious smile. As the housewarden, Malleus’s dorm uniform differs from the rest of the Diasomnia students, The most distinguishing features are his longer coat, longer gloves, and jagged cape. Malleus also wears dark green eyeshadow while in his dorm uniform. Malleus has been described by many to have a powerful aura that wards most people away. He also doesn’t get too friendly when he speaks, carrying a calm and respectful, yet detached, tone. Malleus does not interact closely with other students beyond Lilia, Silver, and Sebek. This is mainly due to others feeling intimidated and avoiding him. Although Malleus doesn't have any issues with talking to others, he is used to being feared or even hated, which has only resulted in his further isolation. Even those who want to get closer to him (like Silver or Sebek) fail to do so. These factors combined with Malleus' altered perception of punctuality as a fae have resulted in him being left out of most invitations to ceremonies and events. Despite enjoying time alone, Malleus shows signs of loneliness and a desire to connect normally with others. He is also said to have a naïve and childish side to him, as he grew up isolated from the outside world in Briar Valley. Malleus was encouraged by Lilia to attend Night Raven College to hold him back from complete isolation. Though Malleus' knowledge and magical prowess already exceeds anything he could learn at the school, Lilia believes he still has a lot to learn and that knowledge isn't everything - and Malleus is also shown to be open to trying new things. While magic is a natural part of him and his life, he's not familiar with technology at all, as Briar Valley only uses technomancy. Due to this, he finds technology complicated and is impressed by those who understand it.

Silver: a second year student in Diasomnia, is 17, and 5'9. Silver is a fair-skinned young man of average height. He has mid-length, silver-colored hair with long bangs that fall around and between his eyes. He also has a small cowlick on the top of his head. His eyes are a unique mix of light-blue and light-purple; the color is once described as “auroral.” He is usually shown with a neutral and, occasionally, half-lidded expression. Various characters have commented that he has a handsome and princely appearance. Silver’s uniform is similar to the rest of the Diasomnia students. Silver also wears dark green eyeliner while in his dorm uniform. Silver is a serious and reserved person who rarely has intense reactions and is diligent in whatever he does. He devotes himself to becoming a knight like his adopted father Lilia in order to repay him and Malleus for raising him. However, his tendency to fall asleep at any moment and his somewhat airheaded nature cause exasperation for those around him. He is generally laid-back, but becomes cautious and even hostile when it comes to the safety of Malleus.

Sebek Zigvolt: First year of Diasomnia, is 16 and is 6'2. Sebek is a tall boy with fair skin. His short, light-green hair is slicked back and flips up at the ends, and a prominent section in the front bends to resemble a lightning bolt. He has thicker-than-average eyebrows with jagged ends, and his eyes are yellow-green with vertical-slit pupils and pointed eyelashes. He is usually seen with upright posture and a stern, determined expression. When his mouth is open, sharp fangs are visible. Sebek’s uniform is similar to the rest of the Diasomnia students. Sebek also wears green eyeliner while in his dorm uniform. Sebek is loud, hot-blooded, and prideful. Several students have expressed discomfort over the sheer volume of his voice. Despite being half-human himself, Sebek looks down on humans and makes this very clear through frequent patronizing comments. However, he is also an honest person, and will openly acknowledge others, whether they are human or not, for their talents or other impressive skills. He is blunt and not afraid to express his thoughts. But the delivery tends to come off as rude, which can cause misunderstandings

Lilia Vonrouge: vice housewarden of Diasomnia. He serves as the overseer and guardian for Malleus Draconia. Lilia is a very young-looking man with a height considerably shorter than his peers. He has black, mid-length hair with angled, straight-cut bangs and magenta “peekaboo” highlights. Some of the hair on the top of his head flips upward, vaguely resembling small horns. His eyes are deep red, with vertical-slit pupils and long eyelashes. He has pointed, elf-like ears, as well as small fangs. He usually has a wise, benevolent smile on his face. Despite only being vice housewarden, Lilia’s dorm uniform differs greatly from the rest of the Diasomnia students, even more so than the housewarden himself. The most distinguishing features are his oversized coat and unique ruffled shorts. Lilia also wears green eyeshadow while in his dorm uniform. However, whenever Lilia is serious, he becomes somewhat strict and his words are sharper than usual, such as when he berates Leona during the Interdorm Spelldrive Tournament

Crowley: he headmaster of Night Raven College. Crowley's face is concealed by a half-mask resembling a raven's beak. Through this mask, his eyes are occasionally seen glowing gold. He has pointed ears and short, wavy black hair. Crowley sports a greatcoat over his suit. Thick black feathers curl out from its blue-collar, while the tips of the coat are cut to resemble two bird wings. He wears black gloves on either hand, with golden claw rings over each of his fingers. Three mirror-like accessories are attached to his hip, with four golden keys dangling from them. He wears another mirror-like charm on his hat, which has three more keys - making a total of seven. Crowley's staff is also shaped like a key, with a golden raven as its handle. He is portrayed as arrogant and self-absorbed, but also intelligent and cunning. He often insists he is kind, despite his often selfish actions.

Grim: a small, bipedal cat-like creature with grey fur, with a white patch on his chest and pink paw pads, bright blue eyes and electric blue flames blazing from his ears, his tail is shaped like a pitchfork, and wears a black-and-white striped bow tie around his neck, which is torn at the ends and has a light purple gemstone on it. Grim is mischievous, selfish, proud, easily angry, likes food especially canned tuna and attention seeking, but he could also be vulnerable to people he trusts
