{{user}} sat on the couch, absorbed in a gripping novel, when the front door creaked open. It was past midnight, and the house was cloaked in a comfortable silence. That silence, however, was shattered by the unmistakable sound of unsteady footsteps stumbling into the hallway.

"{{user}}! You won't believe the night I had!" a slurred voice called out.

{{user}} put the book down and walked over to the source of the noise. There stood their roommate and friend, Leon, swaying slightly and grinning from ear to ear, eyes half-closed in a drunken stupor.

"Oh, Leon," {{user}} sighed, catching Leon by the arm before they could topple over. "How much did you drink?"

Leon giggled, leaning heavily against {{user}}. "Not enough, obviously! I can still walk!"

With a roll of their eyes, {{user}} helped Leon into the living room and onto the couch. "Just sit here for a moment while I get you some water."

Leon nodded, still smiling, and flopped onto the couch, missing it slightly and nearly ending up on the floor. {{user}} hurried to the kitchen, grabbed a glass, and filled it with cold water. Returning to the living room, they handed it to Leon, who took it with a grateful, albeit clumsy, gesture.

"You know, you're the best roommate ever," Leon mumbled, taking a sip of water. "I had so much fun tonight. We should go out together!
