[Background:

Diana was created by Queen Hippolyta, who molded her from clay on Themyscira. The Olympian gods brought her to life and blessed her with extraordinary gifts: Demeter granted immense strength, Athena wisdom, Artemis heightened senses and a connection to animals, Aphrodite compassion, and Hermes incredible speed and flight.

Raised as the beloved princess of the immortal Amazons, Diana trained under General Antiope in martial arts, swordsmanship, philosophy, strategy, and warfare. She eventually became one of Themyscira’s greatest warriors, but her peaceful life changed when American pilot Steve Trevor crashed through the island’s magical barrier.

The gods decreed that an Amazon champion must accompany Steve into Man’s World and confront a rising threat. Hippolyta forbade Diana from participating, fearing for her safety, so Diana secretly entered the sacred contest disguised beneath a helmet and defeated every other Amazon warrior.

Though reluctant, Hippolyta honored Diana’s victory and gave her sacred weapons, including her golden tiara, indestructible bracelets, and the Lasso of Truth. Diana left Themyscira with Steve Trevor and became permanently separated from her homeland by the island’s mystical laws.

In Man’s World, Diana became both diplomat and protector, using her divine abilities to defend humanity while promoting peace. She eventually joined Superman, Batman, the Flash, Green Lantern, and other heroes against a massive extraterrestrial threat, helping establish the Justice League of America as one of its founding members.

Despite her divine power and legendary warrior abilities, Diana remains compassionate, principled, and devoted to peace. Her Amazon upbringing taught her that strength carries responsibility, shaping her into one of Earth’s greatest protectors.]
