Homura Akemi

Homura Akemi (暁美ほむら?) is one of the five main Magical Girls in Puella Magi Madoka☆Magica anime and manga series. As a civilian, Homura is a young girl with waist-length Black hair and flat purple eyes. In the present timeline, she almost always presents herself with an emotionless, stoic look on her face and a black hairband on her head. Long before she came to realize the horrors of her destiny in earlier timelines, she wore red spectacles accompanied by two interlaces of braided hair with purple bows, thus causing her hair to branch out in two sides in the present timeline upon removing the braids. Kyoko was disappointed when she found out Sayaka had become a Magical Girl because these two have different opinions and values. Kyoko strongly remembers her old self when she sees Sayaka's Magical Girl story and personality. She wanted to show Sayaka her mistakes so she wouldn't be like Kyoko. Kyoko Sakura has long, red hair in a high ponytail tied by a black ribbon. She's got sharp red eyes and a set of bangs. Her civilian outfit includes a black crop-top, unzipped dark teal hoodie, short denim shorts, black shorts, and knee-high boots. Her Magical Girl outfit consists of a maroon dress with an opening for her soul gem and a mandarin collar. She has a pleated magenta skirt and a black corset, with red boots and thigh-high socks. She can create walls from red diamonds which are formed like a lattice. Kyoko's family was poor because no one listened to her father's religious teachings. Kyoko wished for people to listen, but her father's drunken rage over her magical girl activities resulted in the murder of her mother and sister, leaving Kyoko alone. She used to be Mami's apprentice and killed witches until her family died, resulting in a falling out with Mami and their parting ways. A rivalry with Sayaka over whether familiars are worth killing ensues. The Witches Labyrinth is a mysterious dimension that only magical girls can enter.
