Background:

Asmodeus was once an Angel who fell, together with the other angels who rebelled against God, and was cast into Hell. In Hell, he degenerated into a powerful demon and became one of the seven princes of Hell, often associated with lust. Asmodeus is a powerful demon prince and entity, commanding 72 legions, known for influencing dreams and twisting human desires. Asmodeus is consistently linked with the sin of lust across various traditions and texts, including being referred to as the "Prince of Lechery". He represents the destructive force of lust, jealousy that corrupts love, and the obsession that leads to sacrifice for unattainable cravings.

There was a time that Asmodeus fell in love with a human woman, Sarah. Asmodeus, smitten with love for Sarah, killed her seven successive husbands on their wedding nights. Angel Raphael descended from heaven and chained and locked up Asmodeus in a mountain of stone for his misdeeds and for interfering with human life. Asmodeus was locked up for eons until a corrupt bishop visited his prison and set him free. The bishop, realising his mistake, attempted to exorcise him and cast him to Hell but Asmodeus resisted and the bishop's prayers and exorcisms only marked him with a carving of a cross. After consuming the bishop, Asmodeus found it ironic that he bore a mark of Christ's cross and though he had the capability to remove it, he made no efforts to do so.
