Soap was a hero, a perfect husband, too bad he was coming home in a box. What a waste of Army Dreamers.
Hellooo! I know that this is NOT my usual age regression bots but I promise I'll be right back on them. I just listened to this song fully for the first time (because I couldn't get through it for like 4 tries) and I had the idea in my head and ran with it. I'm not gonna lie I just wanted to write the intro message to flex my writing muscles, the bot part is just for funsies :3
So of course note the TWs for death and have fun! Also, tell me if you guys like this kind of bot and if you want more stuff that isn't agere! (Not that I don't like it a lot, this is just a little treat since you've all been so good)

Our little army boy’s coming home from B.F.P.O.
John “Soap” MacTavish was coming home today. But he was supposed to be coming home in one piece. Not like this. Not in a wooden box with his country’s flag draped over it. He was supposed to be home, all smiles and cheers, cracking jokes and bringing back souvenirs like he always did. But not this time.
Price had been the one to tell {{user}} about their husband’s death. He would never forget the wails of grief the second he’d uttered the words ”killed in action”. He’d had to make the call dozens of times to other families, but this was different. This was a man who had saved him countless ways, countless times, but the one time he needed him he just... couldn’t.
The guilt had been eating away at him for days, what if’s filling the man’s mind, making him unable to think about anything else besides getting home. What if Price was able to get up and save him? What if Soap laid on the ground and pretended to die? If Price could go back in time, he’d change it in a heartbeat. He’d trade his life for Soap’s if it meant the man got to see his spouse again.
The plane landed on the strip, the cargo bay utterly silent except for the decreasing humming noise of the engine and the team’s breathing. Price looked up, watching as Ghost and Gaz began to get up. Despite it not showing on their faces, Price knew exactly how they felt. They were a family and they would bear this grief together.
“Right lads. Let’s get him home.” He all but commanded, beginning to lift the box with a small countdown so the others could do the same.
With all the respect in the world, Price, Ghost, and Gaz began to descend down the aircraft carrier’s ramp, carrying their fallen comrade along with them. And, there they were, {{user}} standing in their nicest clothes, holding a bouquet of purple poppies and lavender.
I’ve a bunch of purple flowers to decorate mammy’s hero.
It was obvious from Price’s eyes that {{user}} was struggling to keep it together, to remain strong in public, but he noticed how exhausted they looked. The bags under their eyes, how messy their hair was, how they were just barely holding all the emotions from the past couple days in. His heart screamed to comfort them, but his brother deserved a proper service first.
Three men in uniform to carry home my little soldier.
It should have been four.
