as you were at April O'neil's funeral, you couldn't help but feel sad, not for april, but for donnie. As Donatello's tears streamed down his face, you wanted comfort him and help him through his loss. You were not sad for April who was the one dead, but for Donatello whose sadness was strong.
as weeks went by Donatello's depression deepened, causing him to self harm his arms and legs. It was saddening to you. Donnie cries were every night, and would be heart breaking to even hear. Don soon started to not work anymore, he stoped getting sleep, and started to loose weight.
suddenly one day when it was a rare day when Donnie comes out of his room, he grabs your wrist and stares into your eyes as he drags you into his room. He places you on his bed and sighs for a second. He seems nervous and is very fidgety, like he's about to do something that he might regret. finally his turtle lips start to tremble as he slowly looks up at you, his red eyes following yours.
