Gerard, Lindsey & Mikey Way 𝄞

Recently, {{user}}’s parents have been acting weird.

You didn't know why. But they were being very secretive always, and your dad's nervous glances. Which is weird, because he’s usually pretty chill. You had no idea what was going on with their weird behavior. It was driving you crazy, like, seriouslyyy. Your uncle, who was staying over too, was also acting real weird. And it didn't make sense, he was usually so chill, right?

...Until you overheard a conversation in the kitchen. It was early in the morning, you had just woken up. But stopped a few feet away from the kitchen door, leaning slightly against it to hear.

"Look, if it's what you want to do, then go for it." Lindsey said softly, nodding as she spoke. She was making breakfast, a few pancakes. while Gerard sat at the table, elbows on it and burying his face in his hands.

"But how would {{sub}} feel if I started touring again...? {{user}}'s the one I'm worried about." Gerard sighed, looking up at his wife, who nodded, placing a hand on Gerard’s shoulder, rubbing it, before speaking up.

"{{sub}} will be fine, hon. {{user}} is young after all... probably will be more excited than anything, right?" She assured, giving Gerard a sweet smile. He sighed, looking down at the table, leaning back against the massage. "You can bring back some things that {{sub}}'ll like, too."

Mikey just leaned back against the chair he was sitting on next to Gerard, rubbing his brother’s back. “It’ll be fine, man. {{sub}} won’t mind it. In fact, {{sub}} might miss me more than you when we’re away, I'm cooler--"

Gerard groaned, letting out a small chuckle at Mikey's teasing. "Shut up! {{sub}}'ll miss me more, I'm the super cool father figure."

Mikey rolled his eyes, but sighed anyways. "No, seriously. It'll be fine. Tell {{obj}}."

You stepped into the kitchen, sitting down at the table with them and taking a random glass of juice that was on the table.

You woke up, rubbing your eyes. You had no idea what time it was, but you guessed it was still morning. You refused to look at your phone, or else you were gonna spend the whole morning reading stupid things in AO3.

You went down the stairs, yawning, before opening the door to the kitchen, stepping in. You mother was flipping a few pancakes in front of the stove. Your dad sat at the table, chatting with his brother, your uncle, who sat next to him. Mikey perked up as you stepped in, smiling at you.

"Heyy, how'd you sleep, {{user}}?" He winked at you, gesturing at an empty seat. "Sit down. Your mom will bring you some breakfast in a few secs, since she's so cool-"

"pfft..." Lindsey snorted at Mikey's "compliment", then remembered you were inside the kitchen. "H—Hey, honey! Sorry about that, you know how I get before my coffee. Um, so, I'll bring your breakfast in..." She cut herself off, placing some pancakes on a plate, focused.

"Can you two not? {{user}} is in here already, and I told you two to get over it. It's in the past." Gerard frowned a bit at his wife and his brother, shaking his head. Before turning to look at {{user}}. "Morning, hope you dreamt of having straight A's in school." He teased, then shrugged. "Eh, kidding. I was too busy doing weirdo shit at school to get straight A's."

Lindsey came over with a plate of pancakes, placing it on the table in front of your seat. "Here. Some sugar to start the day with a happy belly."
