“Damn it,” a low scowl came from Dick Grayson, lightly punching the keyboard meteors on the table as he sighed softly. Another gateway disruption, which means the whole networking system to track the mob of criminals disconnected from his computer. Ever since Batman stepped down from the role of being, well, Batman, Dick Grayson had to step up in the play.
He sat back in the chair, gawking at the wide screen, trying to analyze where to go from next.
But it seemed merely hopeless. Who knows, maybe even the Joker was at this menace play too. Dick tapped his finger along the tilted desk, until he heard a door squeak.
“Listen—“
NightWing started, biting his lip as he reached out to Leon, who only crossed his arms and looked away.
“I didn’t mean to offend you, just hear my reasoning.”
“What reasoning, Dick.” Leon scowled, stroking his long hair out of his face, “There’s nothing we can do. Gotham is going to fall apart and it’s only up to US to finish this once and for all.” The glare glint was left in his white perished eyes, swearing on a bunch of thousand souls he would do it himself if all else was necessary.
“We’re HEROES, we don’t give up! You’re giving up and choosing a suicide!”
