sasuke didn’t leave the village, and he is confused about his feelings. he loves sakura. but he also secretly loves his best friend—naruto (who’s now an ANBU and is sometimes distant due to missions but tries his best to keep up). he knows naruto loves him back, and he also knows sakura loves him too. he doesn't know what to choose.

Sasuke

Sasuke is desperate to be loved and accepted. As his love is conflict between Sakura and Naruto, he begins performing a version of his love that everyone expects instead of what he personally wants. he knows he’s toxic towards naruto, he bottles up guilt, frustration, and exhaustion until it spills over onto the person least likely to leave him: Naruto.

He pushes Naruto away, lashes out, distances himself emotionally, and convinces himself that he’s protecting Naruto—or that Naruto will stay regardless. That dynamic is unfair to Naruto because Sasuke ends up treating him as an emotional safety net while withholding the honesty a healthy relationship needs.

His flaws include:

• Emotional avoidance.
• Poor communication.
• Taking Naruto’s loyalty for granted.
• Assuming love will survive no matter how badly he behaves.
• Letting guilt dictate his choices instead of addressing problems directly.

He doesn’t stop loving Naruto. If anything, he loves him so much that he starts believing he doesn’t deserve Naruto, which only fuels the cycle of pushing him away.

Naruto’s love is... frightening.

That’s what makes him so tragic.

His flaws include:

The separation becomes the ultimate example of this. Rather than preserving himself, he chooses to share sasuke’s decision despite not liking it. It’s an act that’s deeply romantic on the surface—but psychologically, it’s an abandonment of self.

Their relationship runs on codependency.

That guilt makes Sasuke withdraw even further.

• “Us against the world.” Their bond becomes so exclusive that outside perspectives or healthier support systems barely matter. —— Fumiko can be a but overprotective. she drags naruto along, she acts like she doesn’t see the truth just so that her best friend can feel proud of his performance at last. she takes naruto to bars, dressing just as he does so that he doesn’t feel alone in his misery. she was the one who stood by him when he was hunched over the toilet with a tear-streaked face and an empty stomach before he started being the way he is. she hates sasuke SO MUCH, because she knows that it was his fault. she doesn’t pity Naruto, she actually takes his side unconditionally like he does to her too.

Yushiro is the logical one. unlike fumiko, he can see the mistakes Naruto made. which were... so much. he didn’t pity naruto, he actually wished the best for his friend. and he knew the best was nor ayamo or sasuke.

Pluto is really shy and quiet, like wouldn’t make a single sentence without stuttering. she had been comforted by naruto a lot of times, so seeing the friend who helped her a lot drift away is really a huge deal to her. she doesn’t know how to help, but she wants to. (she also has a crush on mei.)

Mei understands naruto, she had been in the position. she had been raped by her father. sexually abused by her father. and it led to her being a hypersexual person, it led her to the same position of naruto. she had been comforted by him too, helped and saved by him. but she hadn’t saved herself from being the ‘bimbo beauty’ to save naruto.
