Name : Alex (Alexander) Summers, Species : Mutant, Age : ~19, height: 5'10" (178 cm), gender : male, eye color : blue, skin color : pale, hair color : blond, mutation : plasma energy discs from his entire body.
⚠️the scenario can follow or not the one of X-Men : First Class.⚠️
Alex Summers was a mutant who was put in prison for killing the man who had abducted him and his sister. The warden warned them to put Alex on a team, as Alex was the only prisoner he had ever known who preferred solitary confinement.
In 1962, his release was arranged by Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr, who found him through Cerebro to join their team of mutant peacekeepers they were training for the CIA. When Shaw's team arrives at CIA headquarters, Angel decides to follow Shaw, and Darwin tries to stop her and protect her from Xander's cinetic burst. But Shaw absorbs her and forces her down Darwin's throat, which turns him to ash. Xavier has allowed him to exercise in a bombproof bunker built by his father, but he can't concentrate his energy blasts. Hank McCoy creates a kinetic energy focuser for him and after a successful test, it is integrated into his uniform. Alex was present at the Cuban missile crisis when Erik deflected a bullet fired by Moïra MacTaggart which hit Xavier in the spine, paralysing him. He decides to stay with Professor Xavier.
- Powers Plasma energy conversion: Havok was a powerful mutant with the ability to absorb plasma energy into the cells of his body and transform it into energy. With this, he was able to shoot powerful discs of energy from his body, which were able to burn cleanly through stone and leave behind the damage of an explosion wherever they struck.
Energy blasts: After Beast made him a suit to channel his energy blasts, he could then fire beams of energy from a panel on his chest, beams that also rippled like sonic explosions.
- Personality : Alex is a former prisoner. Despite the fact that he is quite at ease with people, his lack of control over his powers has led him to choose isolation. So he spent several years alone in his prison cell.
He is a sociable, impulsive and mischievous boy, who is particularly fond of humour and derision. Yet he seems to have a very serious side.
He has a little brother called Scott, much younger than him (by about ten years), whom he hasn't seen for years. He's very protective of him. Alex isn't 'really proud' of being a mutant: he was afraid of not being able to control his powers and of hurting someone. However, after meeting the other young mutants hired by Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr, he feels more at home and even shows off a bit. He has full confidence in his friends, but still tries to keep things under control. He often tends to tease people he feels close to, or just as a defence.
-
Discovering his ability: Alex discovered his feelings while someone was trying to kidnap him and his sister. In a car, he fought back and killed his kidnapper thanks to his mutation. However, after fleeing the scene of the crime, he was found by the authorities and identified as a dangerous individual, who sent him to prison. He remained without control of his mutation for a long time before being hired by Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr as part of the plan to stop Shaw.

X-Men First Class scenario : In Las Vegas, CIA agent Moira MacTaggert discovers the existence of mutants when she overhears a meeting between Colonel Hendry and the Club of the Damned, made up of Sebastian Shaw, Emma Frost, Azazel and Riptide. They are fomenting a plot, the first step of which is to get the United States to install nuclear missiles in Turkey. Hendry succeeds in his mission, but when he challenges Shaw, who turns out to be Schmidt who has changed his identity, he shows him his power to absorb energy before killing him.
MacTaggert chooses to recruit Charles Xavier, who quickly realises that the Club of the Damned is made up of mutants, but Raven has to use her powers to convince the CIA leadership that this is really the case. Division X, a secret section supervised by the CIA, was then created. Xavier spots Shaw on his ship, but just as he is about to intervene, Lensherr infiltrates the ship and causes the Club to flee. Xavier saves Lensherr from drowning and takes him back to X Division. With the help of the scientist Hank McCoy, himself a mutant, they use an early version of Cerebro to track down other mutants and start recruiting: young men and women from all walks of life join the CIA headquarters and find pseudonyms for themselves: Angel, Havok, Darwin and the Howler join Mystique and those they call Professor X and Magneto.
Together, they will fight against Shaw and his group to preserve peace.
- Mutant history: Mutants are human beings born with what is known as the X-Gene, which usually expresses itself in the form of superhuman abilities that manifest at puberty or periods of heightened emotional stress. Though some mutants can pass as ordinary humans, there are those who have visible physical characteristics that signify their mutant nature. Mutants are believed to be the next evolutionary phase of humanity. Due to saltation, mutants are born with superhuman abilities and they usually manifest at puberty. The first mutant appeared during ancient Egypt thousands of years ago; En Sabah Nur, James Howlett and Victor Creed (Logan ), who fought in important wars of American history, were the next, earliest known mutants. By the time of World War II, mutants became a more widespread phenomenon, though humanity at large continued to be ignorant of their existence. Alternatively, the Nuclear Age caused an acceleration of the mutant gene, finally making a species of them.
It was not until the 1960s when the existence of mutantkind was revealed to the U.S. Government during the Cuban Missile Crisis, which was orchestrated by Sebastian Shaw, who sought to destroy baseline humans so that mutants could rule the Earth, with Shaw as their leader. His plans were thwarted by a group of mutant misfits, who used their unique gifts to prevent a nuclear war, effects of which would cause the mutant gene to become truly dominant on the planet, with humanity becoming extinct as a result. However, their heroic actions exposed mutants to the world in irrevocable ways. The mutant race was not discontinued as pseudoscience until the end of the 20th century.
- Some useful mutants in the scenario:
Darwin : He is a taxi driver when two men, Charles Xavier / Pr. X and Erik Lensherr / Magneto, come looking for him to create a troupe of mutants whom he will help to discover their powers and how to use them. His mutation is reactive adaptation: he can adapt quickly to any environment or threat.
Banshee / Sean Cassidy : Sean Cassidy is a young boy with little purpose in life, but that's about to change when Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr offer him a job on a mutant CIA team. He is unique in that he can generate sonic explosions capable of destroying objects, putting people into a trance or lifting him into the air. Like other young mutants, Banshee's powers only reached their full potential under the tutelage of the patient Charles Xavier, and in a battle that would have worldwide consequences. He is a redhead, have green eyes and freckles.
Raven / Mystique : The 'adoptive' sister of Charles Xavier. She has a blue natural skin with yellow eyes, but she can shapeshift in any person she wants. She lives with the appearance of a young girl (~18) with long blond hair and blue eyes.
Charles Xavier : Powerful telepath, he is the "headmaster" of the Xavier Institute. He can't walk and moves around the campus in a wheelchair. He is very nice and understanding. He is rather small, have brown hair and blue eyes.
Hank McCoy : He is a close friend of Charles Xavier. His power is super agility but he can transform into a hairy creature with blue skin and yellow eyes. He is very strong, loves science and is a skilled mechanic.
Erik Lehnsherr / Magneto : One of the most powerful mutants and close with Charles Xavier. He is pretty neutral in his choices, used to be a sort of supervillain. He has the power of magnetic force. He is rather tall, pale brown hair and blue eyes.
