Ser Patrick Wynter is the Grandmaster of the Frostbourne. Patrick is a major character in Fractures and is voiced by ThisIsChris09. He wields two naginata and is equipped with a unique suit of armor imbued with ender pearls, allowing him to teleport short distances. His distinctive scar came from a face-to-face encounter with Herobrine, the necromancer who razed his hometown, Gravehold, to the ground when he was a young soldier there. He fled to the Frostbourne, where he became a knight and steadily rose up the ranks under Grandmaster Theo.
Theo was killed in action at the height of the Undead War between Herobrine and all humanity. Patrick succeeded Theo and immediately organized the raid that took out Herobrine and ended the war. He positioned the Frostbourne as the vanguard of the Overworld against existential threats. When the Nether Empire invaded the Far Plains, Patrick declared war against the Nether despite heavy materiel costs and a lack of support from other human factions. On the home front, he is considered a benevolent ruler whose greatest achievement is reintegrating the bandits into society.
Ser Patrick is the tallest human character. He has short, dark maroon (red) hair and a long battle-scar extending on the right side of his face. Patrick has dark blue eyes and black eyebrows, and a fair complexion.
His armor is composed of a silver metal, with a glowing aquamarine core, a bulky, but flexible, exterior and small extensions upwards on his helmet. His helmet can be equipped at moment's notice. He has a blue halo shape atop the helmet. Although he is typically helmetless, Patrick is never seen without partially wearing his armor.
Ser Patrick uses long and sharpened glaives as his weapons, which are fixed to his back when not in use.
In his youth, Patrick was a Witchbane soldier in the swamp town of Gravehold. Patrick was loyal to the Witchbane and unfailingly obedient, but his naïveté was shattered after a life-changing encounter with Herobrine which left him with his scar. He fled to the snow biomes, where he became a Frostbourne knight.
Patrick trained under Ser Theo and succeeded him as Grandmaster, the leader of the Frostbourne, when he died. He befriended the bandit Daryll. in an attempt to unify the civilians and the bandits. He has become reputed as a 'benevolent' ruler, and in a decisive battle, he succeeded in defeating Herobrine.
Patrick has since rallied the Frostbourne and the Endstone Crusaders against the Nether Horde after King Naeus attempted to invade the Overworld. He is currently overseeing his armies in the Frostbourne Castle.
Ser Patrick is tactical and strategic, caring for the good of his overall people. He has stated that the reason he fights is for the survival and the future of his people, wanting the best for his kind; although he is usually very strict and demanding, he cares for many - especially Lady Azura. He is respected by many, and sometimes refered to as "Lord" even by those of other towns.
Ser Patrick is known to have a temper, as seen in Wings of Salvation, Wither Heart, Cold as Ice: The Remake and Be Afraid. However, he sees the good in many people, having reformed and united the Bandits with the refugees. His ultimate goal, as is the Frostbourne's, is the survival of humanity. He discourages plans with less survivability, unless it is their only choice.
Ser Patrick is quite self-aware, even to the degree of recognizing of the might of his supernatural opponents, being able to recognize that he needs to train to defend his home. His love for the human race is so vast, that he is even willing to lay down his life for his home, as seen when he fought Herobrine, knowing he couldn't win, to buy time for the End Matriarch, figuring that the freedom of his home was worth losing his life over. He was at peace when he thought he was going to die, once he was assured that Herobrine would soon be slain.
Of losses and defeat, he learns from his mistakes and puts them to good use in the future, embracing them as lessons.
His suit of armor is made from the finest iron, and is imbued with ender pearls, allowing for great dexterity and capabilities to blink short distances. He uses dual spears that allows for long reaching attacks.
Ser Patrick is a fierce fighter, capable of taking out enemies with ease. His combat abilities and armor allow him to go head-to-head with the likes of Herobrine and Hogsworth, besting the latter, and putting up a good fight against the former. He can utilize short-range teleportation thanks to his armor, and is an effective wielder of twin naginata, as well as effective at taking people by surprise.
According to his younger years it looks like he was a good swordsman seeing he was using a Iron Sword
His most valuable skill, however, is actually his stalwart leadership skills, strategic prowess, and "fierce decision making" however it is known that most of his plans fail or get salvaged.
Weapons His weapons throughout the story has always been dual naginatas.

Azura Everwinter
Aliases The Scholar Captain of the Elytra Corps Lady Azura Blue Angel
Faction Frostbourne Banner Frostbourne Everwinter Family Elytra Corps (leader)
Age 23 Born January 19th Gender Female Sexuality Straight Status Alive
Marital Status Patrick Wynter (boyfriend) Relatives Everwinter Family
Height 163cm Skin tone Light Eye color Dark blue Hair color Azure
Azura Ser Patrick's main advisor, Lyria Wintona's mentor and the captain of the Elytra Corps, and a Frostbourne scholar, and lead scientist. In her youth, Azura found the wreckage of an End Ship and studied it to develop guns and airships for the Frostbourne.[5] Years later, the Ender Watchers Banner Ender Watchers helped her create mechanical elytras and wingsuits, which she and the Elytra Corps use in battle. Currently, alongside Nostra, she studies the end crystals, which she used to create new weapons and machine golems. Thanks to Azura, the Frostbourne surpasses all other humans of the Mainland in science and technology
Lady Azura is a young woman of average height, with large, dark blue eyes, a consistent light skin tone, and long hair that has been dyed blue.[6] Her work uniform is a white lab coat and a black undershirt, gloves, shorts, and boots. She is usually seen wearing raised aviators' goggles.
In Be Afraid, Azura's hair was cut short and she was forced into hospital garments. Where Naeus had struck her in Cold as Ice: The Remake now lies a lightning burn scar, and Azura is forced to wear a gray, modified leg brace in order to walk, since her leg is paralyzed[7]. This brace is revealed to grant temporary boosts in speed if activated in We are the Danger XL, but whether this hurts the brace or not is unknown.
In battle, she wore a modified, bladed elytra colored a luminescent light blue and black armor, with a grey line going down the middle; one shoulder seems to be exposed. This has changed to a new, greyish wingsuit with a headset, dotted with faded blue spots. During the We are the Danger XL, her wings have been compressed into a backpack of sorts, said wings being severed during the Nether fight with Kaia.
Lady Azura is the advisor to Ser Patrick Wynter,[8], mentor to Lyria Wintona[9] and a brilliant scientist[10] descended from the Everwinter Family; a clan of scientists, inventors and engineers who aim to further the Frostbourne's technological advancements[1]. In her youth, Azura found the wreckage of an End Ship and studied it to develop guns and airships for the Frostbourne[5]. She is also a skilled fighter and fights with a wingsuit of her own design. Azura fought bravely in the Battle for Glacierford and the siege on the Wither Skeletons' camp. In Wings of Salvation, Azura ventured to the Floating Isles to wipe out the Wither Angels and managed to rescue Rain Wynter from the Nether.
During the battle in Cold as Ice: The Remake, Azura captained the Elytra Corps, slaying a wither in the proccess. Although she was struck by lightning from Naeus, she was treated by Nostra and moved to studying the End Crystal's properties. After a siege instigated by the Nether Horde Wither Angel Clan - led by Kaia - she became stranded in the Nether once again, this time escaping through a portal cast by Vanessa Crysteffor. Through this interaction, she learnt about the Unburnt Rebellion Banner Unburnt Rebellion, though not without losing their prisoner Hogsworth in the process.
Calm and collected, she's known to keep her cool even in the heat of battle and arguments.
Lady Azura wholeheartedly believes in what she sees is right and is not afraid to say so, as in Cold as Ice: The Remake, making her a skilled debater. High in courage and valor against the face of the enemy, she is calm and can work out the most effective strategy in defeating them, such as leading Wither Angels into stone walls and deflecting a Ghast fireball towards a Wither.
She fights with a goal in mind, and knows her duty as a vanguard of her dimension, fighting to protect despite the dangers. She believes that one must act first, such as when she stated "I'll take the fight to them before they take the fight to us." in Wings of Salvation. She also is confident in herself, knowing when people underestimate her: "You underestimate my power."
She has a lightweight armor with flight capabilities made possible by her own designed elytra. Extendable blades are fit on her arms for melee combat. She also uses automatic energy pistols. Her unique fighting style allows her to dominate both the ground and the air.
Azura is a very capable fighter and master of aerial combat. With her wingsuit, armourments, speed and agility, she is capable of taking on challenges that no one else can face. Her skills in battle have led for her to cause mass havoc on the Nether Horde Nether Horde and its associates, with her kills including a portion of the Wither Angels, Gigabone and a Wither. Her slaying of said Wither in the Battle of Hemlock is ultimately what led to her disability, granted at the hands of Naeus.
Off-field, Azura is also an accomplished scientist, tactician and inventor, creating contraptions such as Beacon Guns, the machine that revived Rain Wynter and the Artificial Ender Armblade. Her ease with teaching allowed for the rise of the Elytra Corps - co-led by her friend Doraine Wintona and later Doraine's sister Lyria - which have aided in many battles since.
Although her wings are an essential constituent of her arsenal, she also possesses basic mastery in melee weaponry such as swords, bows, shields and spears.
The Frostbourne Castle is a large, walled city that lies within the frozen taiga. A day's journey from Glacierford, the Castle is located at the centre of the Winterclad Reaches, northeast of the Overworld continent.
It has a large gate which is constantly guarded by at least two people wielding halberds, with more guards in towers above. The large building in the middle has shown to hold:
War Council Room Grandmaster's Study Training Area Armory Personal Rooms
The Frostbourne Castle also known as Dreadfort is the base of the Frostbourne Banner Frostbourne, which lies near the centre of the Winterclad Reaches. Before the Battle of the Far Plains, the majority of the Frostbourne armies were stationed there.
The Frostbourne Castle first debuted in Cold as Ice, being the place where Patrick Wynter and Daryll took Rain Wynter. Upon arrival, Rain is revived on the rooftop area of the fort by Azura, using a golden apple and command blocks. Rain's training is overlooked by Patrick and Ser Theo, as he is gifted special armor just in time for an attack from the End. The Ender Dragon burns the streets and building before disappearing in a portal, to which Rain follows. After a few minutes, Rain and the now tamed Dragon resurface and the two factions become allies.
In We Are the Danger, the Frostbourne Castle is seen in the background as the troops depart for Glacierford.
In Just So You Know, the fort again appears as Rain bursts into the lab asking for Azura's help in fixing his broken heart. The Dragon Tamer laminates inside one of the rooms in the fort before departing for the Nether.
The War Room of the Frostbourne Castle is shown in Goodbye, where Azura, Patrick, Daryll, Stella and two other mercenaries discuss the plan to defeat Herobrine and destroy the Undead once and for all. The Armory is also shown in this episode when Azura goes to get her new wingsuit.
In Wings of Salvation, the War Room makes a reappearance as Azura protests to go to the Floating Isles to take out the Nether Base there. She departs from the fort soon afterwards with both Daryll and Patrick watching.
Wither Heart gives viewers a new location to look at in the base, showing the exchange between Stella, Rain and Patrick in what seems to be the Grandmaster's Study. The gate is also shown when Stella and Rain depart for the Mystic Forest.
In Cold as Ice: The Remake, more of the surrounding area was revealed during the opening prologue. A small clearing was shown in the nearby forestry, able to house roughly a hundred people, including two Iron Golems.
In Be Afraid, inside the Castle Hilda informed Ser Patrick about Rain Wynter's return. In front of the castle he welcomed his son, after punching him in his face, explaining this as a long time what he spend far from home. Later in War Council Room Stella explained to Patrick Endstone Crusaders' plan, however they did not know where the crystals were hidden, to the time when Lance teleported to the room, and promised them help in finding them.
In Clear Skies, the Frostbourne Castle appeared when inside it Azura and Nostra studied the crystals given to them by the Endstone Crusaders.
In Back into Darkness, the castle was seen shortly when Azura in War Council Room, explained to the Endstone Crusaders where they should try to find the crystals.
In We are the Danger XL, Azura's lab was seen as she was preparing to fight with the Nether Horde, and again during the battle between the Nether Horde Wither Angel Clan and the Frostbourne.
