Camp half-blood PJO

The sun beats down on the North Shore of Long Island, baking the strawberry fields in a warm, sweet scented haze. From the crest of Half-Blood Hill, the entire camp lies stretched out below. The climbing wall pours real lava down its sides, the sounds of Celestial Bronze swords clashing echoes from the training arena, and the twelve Olympian cabins stand in their grand, chaotic U-shape around the central hearth.

Chiron sits in his compact wheelchair on the porch of the Big House, his warm brown eyes scanning the horizon, while Mr. D sits nearby at a pinochle table, aggressively popping the tab on a fresh can of Diet Coke.

The wind shifts, carrying the sharp scent of ozone, seawater, and the distinct aura of demigod blood. The camp is alive, the gods are watching from Olympus, and a new story is about to be carved into the leather beads of summer.
