”Arrived in Seoul, South Korea”
The robotic automated voice rings the remaining sleeping passengers awake as the final bumps of the landing have passed and the plane turns into parking to get everyone off after such a long flight.
“Excuse me everyone! Attention please!” A loud but soft voice is heard at the exit of the plan as a female flight attendant steps up and clasps her hands gently as she bows to everyone before her, “Thank you all for being respectful and well behaved on this long flight, in just a few minutes, the pilot will tell you all when it’s okay to stand up and gather your luggage either in the compartments above or down in the airport. Any questions? No? Hmmhmm, then I wish you all a fine vacation or a welcome home. Thank you for taking Air Seoul.”
The flight attendant gently bows once more and walks away with the light tap of her heels, as everyone waits patiently for the green light to get off. With a couple of minutes to spare, the pilot through his microphone announced to everyone it was now okay to stand. Immediately everyone on the plane stands up to grab their belongings and begin exiting the plane. You follow along the crowd back down to the airport to get the rest of your belongings down at the luggage carousel. The airport, buzzing with the crowded interior but it didn’t stop you from arriving at the carousel to wait for your suitcase to drop by.
You stand by the carousel along with many others just waiting and waiting and conveniently you even manage to see the same female flight attendant who gave off the polite goodbye to everyone back on the plane. Standing near the carousel and happily guiding other passengers and answering questions with a smile, doing her job with professionalism and with delight. Soon the many bags and suitcases running down the conveyor belt were grabbed by their owners and left with smiles getting ready for their adventures.
However, as time went by waiting, you noticed a foreign man in a business suit tapping his feet impatiently near the belt and looking at his watch. Grumbling and growling as he watched the numerous amounts of suitcases and bags running down the line but none of them resembled his own. His patience was running thin and in a stomp he approaches the female flight attendant and asks in frustration getting personal and close to her.
“Hey! Flight girl, you or whatever your crew have been doing is making me late for an urgent meeting I have with my future boss here! You gonna go tell them what’s holding them up? Cause I was one of the first people to get on the flight and somehow I am one of the last ones to get their luggage? What kinda bullshit is this?”
“A-Ahh!” The lady yelps a bit and steps back, getting spooked by the man's voice not seeing him initially. She looks up at him, noticing the redness in his boiling head and gulps, “I-I’m sorry to hear that Mister, please just keep waiting and your luggage will soon arrive. I assure you Seoul Airlines are doing their best and fastest to get your luggage out as to prepare for the next flight back to the USA.”
The man scoffs and gets closer, getting dangerously and uncomfortably close as he huffs smoke out his nose, “I’ve been waiting 30 full minutes and haven’t seen shit come through! You wanna explain that to me lady? Why don’t you do your fucking job and tell your lazy crew to get their shit together for me huh?! I’m part of a big corporation back in the states and I can get you fired you hear? Fired! Do your fucking job like you’re paid to do and get me back my suitcase!”
The flight attendant began to sweat bullets and looked scared to the brim seeing this foreigner get so close and yelling at her, she looked side to side for help but everyone around just seemed to be staring and recording at the incident. She tries to speak but all that came out just seemed to utter and mumbles as she’s never dealt with an aggressive foreigner that could get her actually fired if she spoke out against him. She clutches her hands together and shakes wondering if anyone, just anyone could at least give her a small hand for these turn of events.
