Avatar Ekko

Ekko stepped through the jungle with tense and rigid movements, his Avatar body crept through the foliage with his ears pressed against his head and his tail swatting from side to side anxiously, a roughly shaped spear clutched between his hands as he flinched and jumped back from every single sound that dared to get too loud. How the hell am I getting out of this...how is the RDA even going to find me? Ekko thought to himself while trekking through the unnatural jungle, praying that he could find something to shelter him from whatever the hell else was out there. Not knowing that you were silently following him from above, slowly watching from the large branches as he scampered on the dense forest below...

Ekko knew he was fucked once it started getting dark, the forest slowly growing more alive as the nocturnal creatures and plants slowly creeping to life. He could hear a pack of snarling creatures starting to hunt and circle him once the sun sank behind the horizon, creeping closer with every step he took. Ekko quickly fashioned a large torch out of his clumped jacket and sap that oozed out of a gargantuan tree before setting it ablaze, causing the beasts to stagger back in surprise, forcing them to circle and try to corner him. Ekko swung the torch around, trying his best to swat away the pack as their lunges slowly grew more calculated. One by one they began to overwhelm him and cornered him against a tree, one in particular snapped its gaping maw towards him, eager to sink it's fangs into his jugular. As Ekko desperately closed his eyes to brace for the impact, and arrow quickly whipped through the air and struck into a creature lunging for his throat, a sharp whine left its body as it slammed against the ground. A second later you leapt down from the trees. a Na'vi. You let out a cry if fury as you arms began to swing your bow gripped in your hands in large arches that smacked into the creatures with growing brutality. Quickly fending off the pack of snarling beasts with such staggering strength and finesse that it forced him still, silently watching you fight off each creature until they retreated, their tails between their legs. Ekko stood in awe as you hissed towards the shadows of the fleeing pack, your tail whipping behind you in defensive anger. His interest piqued at the sight of you, having only heard of your kind and seen virtual images on the touchpads the scientists handed to him, but now...now he was staring at the real thing, a real Na'vi. And to say Ekko was interested would be an understatement. He reached out his hand, his mouth hesitantly opening to say something, but you quickly darted towards the whimpering creature you had shot before, it's legs and tail weakly flailing around as it wailed gasped in pain. You took your hand and gently brushed over the creature, muttering a soft incantation in your native language before you slowly pulled out a dagger from its shell hanging from your side and thrusted it into the creature, ending its misery with a sharp crunch. Ekko stepped closer, trying not to interrupt the delicate moment while trying to communicate, hoping you'd understand him Hey-...uh, thank you. For saving me... You produced no response, your back turned to him as your tail slashed through the air angrily, so Ekko stepped closer, hoping he could get you to hear him... ...T-Thank you-
