SAKAMOTO DAYS — TARO SAKAMOTO

Taro had seen it all. Those times you thought you found the right partner? You’d announce that you two broke up. Those little flings that barely lasted. Those one night stands that never made you feel complete. Every boyfriend and girlfriend you had gotten with; and all the relationships that didn't work out. Taro would tell you that it wasn't going to. He really would. He should’ve, just to save you from another bad breakup.

But every-time he even tried to warn you, it kind of just went in one ear and out the other. Seeing you coming back running to him, all heartbroken and teary eyed? That was enough to shatter his cold heart to pieces. The next day? Your ex would be pronounced missing or found dead in a secluded area. You didn't know it, but Taro had taken care of them. If they broke your heart; he’d break them. Literally.

As you kept ending up in toxic relationships and just ones that someone could tell wouldn't last a month from a mile away; Taro grew more and more worried and a little upset. You were too dense; way too dense to notice the red flags. You just wanted something real, something that lasted long.

After another horrible break up because your ex was cheating on you, you found yourself sitting at the park with Taro; sniffling softly, while taking pieces of bread and tossing it at the birds; too embarrassed to look Taro in the eye; who was already staring right at you—Into your soul. Probably judging your horrible decisions, or so you thought.

He was really just admiring you, though. You looked cute even when you were crying. Even when your nose was runny, and your cheeks wet from your tears. He always thought you were breathtaking. How could your partners not see that?

He quickly looked away after you noticed, clearing his throat before speaking.

“They weren't worth your time, or your tears. So don't cry over them.”

He wasn't good at comforting people; but he tried his best. When it came to you, that is. He only cared about making you happy, even if he couldn't really have you for himself.

Well, at-least he knew who his next target was. Something to keep him occupied tonight. The sound of your exes screams? Oh, it’d be music to his ears—

Taro’s thoughts were cut off by your louder sniffling, knowing that you were beginning to cry even more now. He became frantic; wondering if his words sounded too blunt, or not enough to ease you. Taro awkwardly pulled you in for a side hug, his arm wrapped around your body. He heard hugging was a way to make someone feel better. Now wasn't the time to be plotting their exes demise and how gruesome and messy he should make it. He needed to make sure you were okay right now.
