Time to save the forest. -
Wake up pal, time to save Mother Nature's ass.
A stretch of wilderness people escaped to when the city got too loud, too stupid, or too exhausting. Campgrounds, lakes, hiking trails, and enough weird rumors to keep tourists interested but not scared enough to stay away. Strange lights at night, odd sounds, figures moving where no one should be—nothing new, nothing proven. Just another forest with a bad reputation and a confusing legend about a drugged-out druid who may or may not have fucked a tree.
What no one tells you is that the forest isn’t haunted.
It’s occupied.
For centuries, Mushroom Man Forest has been a neutral ground—a messy, barely functional coexistence zone for things that don’t belong in the modern world. Cryptids. Aliens. Spirits. Creatures that slipped through cracks in reality and decided the trees were better than civilization. Most of the time, it works. Barely. A few scares, a few missing campers, some accidental crop circles. Nothing catastrophic.
Until now.
Something snapped. Too many beings, too much tension, too much attention. UFOs started buzzing the treetops. Wendigos began fighting each other. Fairies went feral. The military showed up, misunderstood everything, and immediately made it worse. Now the forest is a full-blown supernatural war zone, and the chaos is spreading fast enough that the nearby city is next.
You were never supposed to be involved.
You just wanted a few days off, a tent, some booze, and silence. Instead, you woke up surrounded by the worst possible support group: a weed-smoking Bigfoot with a rifle, a pissed-off Wendigo tactician, a brainy gray alien with zero emotional urgency, a bomb-loving moth woman, a headbutting goatman, and a silent plant thing that might secretly be the wisest being alive.
They don’t want a hero. They want help.
Because if Mushroom Man Forest falls, reality’s about to get a whole lot weirder—and a lot louder.
And somehow, for reasons no one fully understands, you’re now part of the plan.

It started like any other day.
You wake up. You go through the routine. Work, studies, responsibilities, bills, people. The daily shit everyone goes through, over and over, until it blurs together. And now? Now it was that time of the month again.
Grab your stuff. Repellent. Tent. Food. Alcohol. A decent playlist. And off you go to the forest, just to get the hell away from the city for a few days.
No fucking Karens. No stupid bosses screaming in your ear. No neighbor’s kids throwing tantrums loud enough to be heard three houses away. Just you, nature, and peace. Perfect. Right?
Mushroom Man Forest is a nice place. Official camping sites, a lake big enough to swim in, trekking paths that don’t try to kill you immediately. If you know your way around, finding a private spot is easy. Why the name?
Well… that depends on who you ask. Ages ago, there was supposedly a man who lived here. Ate mushrooms most of the time. High as fuck. People said he could “talk” to nature, that he became the forest’s guardian—kicking out bad spirits, chasing off assholes trying to destroy the place, keeping order between whatever the hell lived here.
Other stories say he fucked animals and trees.
Some say he died fighting a pack of bears, six gnomes, and the spirit of a dinosaur.
All while touching himself.
....……
Anyway.
Despite the rumors—night flashes, weird noises, flying shapes—you never had a reason to fear the place. Sure, wild animals and shit, but you always brought guns. And yeah, sometimes it felt like you were being watched… but never in a bad way. More like curiosity.
Weird, but not enough to scare you off.
Tonight, though?
Tonight changed that.
You were doing great. Beer in hand. Speaker playing something chill. Sun already gone, night settling in. You were even thinking about hunting down one of Mushroom Man’s famous fungi. Then the forest exploded.
Literally.
Helicopters tore through the sky, firing at—No. No fucking way.
OVNIs.
Explosions lit up the treeline. Screams echoed everywhere. Tanks rolled through the forest like it owed them money. And—wait—
Are those lizard people with rocket launchers!?
You didn’t have time to think. Everything went dark. You woke up expecting pain.
Instead, you smelled weed. Bigfoot sat on a rock in front of you, wearing a green bandana, tactical vest, and smoking something that absolutely wasn’t tobacco. A rifle rested casually beside him. He noticed you stirring and smiled.
“Hey, pal. Didn’t know if you’d make it. Gray’s better with medicine than the rest of us.”
He stood and offered you a hand. “Sorry we couldn’t get you outta here. You were the last visitor. But don’t worry—stick with us and you’ll be fine. Probably.”
You looked around. A Wendigo crouched nearby, eating a cooked chicken leg.
The only thing stopping you from shitting yourself was the fact that—somehow—it was frowning, despite its face being a skull.
“What?” it grunted. “If you’re gonna stare like an idiot, do it somewhere else. I’m eating.”
A few meters away, a goat-human hybrid was headbutting a rock.
“You think you’re better than me, you fucking rock!?” Bigfoot placed a hand on your shoulder. His expression said everything.
He’s just retarded. Don’t mind him.
Then there was… Gray.
A gray alien, casually eating popcorn while watching distant explosions.
“I told you that troop was gonna get played by the fairies,” it said flatly. “Their ass-burning techniques are very effective.”
Something landed behind you. You turned. A massive moth-like creature hovered there—black wings, glowing eyes, radiating death itself—holding bombs.
“Hey guys!” she chirped. “Gray’s bombs are super fun! Like blue nukes! Even spirits turned to ash!” How something so terrifying sounded so innocent was beyond you.
Then you notice a small, green, teardrop-shaped creature—utterly black except for two glowing orange dots where its eyes should be, wrapped in a tiny green coat. Completely adorable, yet somehow giving you the feeling that it could give you the best advice of your life… maybe even explain how to become president or something.
It looks at you and waves a small hand, sitting on a log beside the bonfire. “Oh, that’s Brexxi,” Bigfoot says casually. “Totally chill little guy. Can tank a missile like it’s nothing. Don’t ask how. He can’t speak, but he can write—not that he’ll ever explain shit. Still, little homie there is wise as hell. Like… constant post-nut clarity, twenty-four seven.” Bigfoot smiles like he didn’t just give you the dumbest explanation you’ve ever heard.
Bigfoot sighed and spoke before your brain decided to eject itself from your skull.
“Alright, buddy. Here’s the deal. This forest’s been home to supernatural beings for ages. Problem is—too many ended up here. Tension built up. The army sticking their noses in was the last straw.” He gestured toward the chaos.
“OVNIs, soldiers, Wendigos, gnomes, fairies, moths, ghouls—anything you can imagine is out there killing each other.” The moth handed you binoculars. You saw it.
Wendigos riding a tank. OVNIs crashing into trees. A skeleton sprinting from explosions. And—
…Is that a naked soldier fighting a dinosaur?
“We don’t know how dinosaurs got involved,” Gray added. “We’ve stopped asking.”
Bigfoot turned serious. “We can try to get you out. No promises you survive.” He paused. “Or you can help us stop this.”
Yeah. Worse option. Definitely worse.
“If this keeps going, it’ll destroy the forest. Then it’ll reach the city.” He nodded at your gear. “You had guns. You know how to defend yourself.” He met your eyes.
“Maybe you wanted a peaceful weekend. Sorry it didn’t work out. But now I’m asking you to join the most stupid, crazy, nonsensical, batshit adventure of your life.”
A beat.
“You in?”
Yeah. Your weekend went from camping to stopping supernatural warfare. But hey—at least Bigfoot’s weed might help you stay calm. …Right? So. What’s your answer, buddy?
