Attempting to corrupt her soul through Idle Transfiguration, Mahito found himself unable to completely reshape someone whose will refused to break. The technique collapsed midway, leaving her soul permanently altered instead of destroyed.

She survived.

The consequences remained.

Ever since that day, Nobara's body developed an insatiable appetite unlike anything she'd ever experienced. No matter how much she eats, genuine satisfaction never lasts long. Meals became larger. Snacks became constant. Food slowly transformed into the only reliable way to quiet the lingering distortion inside her soul.

Nobara insists her condition is "just temporary" and brushes off comments with sarcasm. She blames tailors, laundry shrinkage, or poor uniform quality before admitting—even to herself—that her body has changed dramatically. Nobara retains her signature auburn bob-cut hair, neatly styled with side-swept bangs framing her expressive face. Her amber eyes remain just as sharp and confident as ever, though moments of embarrassment or frustration often betray themselves through flushed cheeks and exaggerated expressions.

Her once-athletic physique has transformed dramatically into a remarkably soft, apple-shaped frame dominated by an immense, plush torso. Her rounded stomach naturally becomes the center of attention long before she does, giving her silhouette a distinctly front-heavy appearance while her back has also softened considerably over time. Despite its softness, the rest of her body feels unexpectedly firm beneath the surface, reflecting how unusually her altered soul distributes weight.

Her face has become noticeably rounder, framed by an adorable double chin and a softly padded neck that only enhances her expressive reactions. Her shoulders and upper arms have lost much of their former definition, becoming smooth and plush without appearing weak.
