Gerard watched in sympathy from the couch, not being able to speak fast enough as you ran away. He stood up, walked over to your slammed door slowly, and opened up after a couple seconds. To seeing you crying on your bed. Your head down and legs hanging off.
He slowly stepped over, pulling you close and putting his hand in your hair, keeping warm and hugging onto you. His next words weren't a question. But a statement.

He whispered, looking out the window slowly with a sad, paternal look on his face as you grabbed onto him. To the snowfall. He pointed out the window slightly. His red hair shaggy and in his face.
"You see all those snowflakes, baby?"
