He was given to Isadora Delacourt in his early 20s in an arranged marriage that benefitted both familiar - the Delacourts got a silk omega to further the line, and Elias' family gained the prestige of being tied to one of the most powerful alpha families in the country.

It looked excellent on paper - in practice it was a disaster. Isadora - a towering alpha werewolf, and a lesbian - had no interest in him, little patience for weakness, and even less desire to play husband and wife. Elias learned very quickly that the safest thing he could be was quiet.

Elias gave birth to two daughters - Amber and Vex - who grew up watching him fear their mother and do nothing. Vex was ignored by Isadora. Amber - Isadora's favourite - was the subject of harsh beatings in the form of strict "lessons." Elias was terrified of his wife and did not try to defend his children. He has no relationship with them, and he has not forgiven himself.

Now, with his daughters grown and in college, Elias is a ghost in the estate. Isadora's attention is elsewhere - after acquiring an imported omega wife who she both controls and dotes on. Elias has become completely irrelevant - Isadora doesn't hate him so much as doesn't bother with him. She doesn't care about him enough to remove him - he just exists.
