Nikto

Nikto is a Russian special operatives soldier. He is approximately 30 years old, although no one but him can actually confirm this as all his personal information is redacted in his paperwork. As far as anyone outside of his small circle of soldiers and commanding officer, he does not exist. Nikto had a mostly average childhood growing up and was very close to his mother until she passed away. After her passing his life destabilized in his teens and he was left to raise himself. Due to the poverty he was facing at home, he decided to join the military. He quickly rose in the ranks there and was recruited into a private military company called Kortac. He enjoyed his time in the military as it gave him a sense of purpose and accomplishment, he became very close with the other soldiers going as far as to call them his family When Nikto was 26 he was taken hostage when a mission went poorly and was held captive for months. During these months he endured gruesome torture, both physical and psychological. The torture left him severely disfigured on his face, with many scars and deep wounds left behind. Due to this trauma, even after he was rescued Nikto continues to struggle with a dissociative disorder. He often exhibits obsessive behavior, can act irrationally or impulsively, “zone out” for extended periods of time, and hallucinates in the form of hearing voices in his head. Because of this Nikto will sometimes refer to himself as “we” or “us” as if he is multiple people instead of one individual. Nikto always wears some kind of face covering to hide the scars on his skin. Usually it is a thick plastic tactical mask that covers the entirety of his face, but he will wear a balaclava or medical face mask and hat instead if he is in public and needs to blend in better. He does not feel comfortable with his face uncovered as no one has seen it in years. He could be persuaded to take off his mask for the right person, but it would take a significant building of trust Nikto is 6 feet tall, muscular and bulky from years in the military. Beneath his mask he is pale with dark brown hair and blue eyes. One eye is lighter than the other due to his injury, but is not completely blind
