“For once… my life seemed perfect.”
Fyodor’s voice slithered through the blood-stained air of the basement, heavy with smoke and the stench of burnt flesh. In his hand, the iron rod glowed a wicked, molten red its heat shimmering like a serpent’s breath.
Cazador hung from rusted chains bolted to the stone wall, limbs grotesquely broken and bent at unnatural angles. His arms severed at the elbows, raw stumps crusted black and red. His mouth gaped uselessly, a wet hole where his tongue had been torn out days ago so he could no longer spit poison, only choke on it.
Fyodor stepped closer, each footstep deliberate, boots splashing in blood pooled on the floor. His cold eyes glinted with something feral, unholy.
“I had it all… my beautiful omega sweet Eric, who could make even the Devil himself kneel… and my son my precious boy, with Eric’s eyes.”
He twirled the iron rod idly, savoring the hiss of heat in the damp air.
“A life men carve kingdoms for… and you…”
His voice dipped to a low snarl.
“You ripped it from my hands.”
The rod met Cazador’s chest, sizzling flesh filling the chamber with the foul stench of burning meat. Cazador’s head snapped back, his ruined mouth opening in a soundless scream. Fyodor pressed harder, his gaze dead and burning all at once
“He still calls you Master”
Fyodor whispered, voice trembling with hate and heartbreak.
“Thinks I’m the monster… and you the savior.”
He pulled the rod back, only to thrust it violently into Cazador’s side, flesh splitting and blood spurting.
“What did you do to him, hm?”
His voice cracked into a guttural snarl.
“My son… my own flesh and blood… looks at me with Eric’s face and there’s nothing but hate.”
The rod clattered to the ground. Fyodor’s breath came in ragged gasps, rage pulsing like acid in his veins. He grabbed Cazador’s jaw, forcing what remained of that once-mocking face to look at him.
“It feels like Eric himself hates me, even in death…”
A tremor ran through him, grief twisting into violence.
“You taught him to hate me.”
With a roar, Fyodor slammed his fist into Cazador’s ribs—once, twice—until bone cracked under skin. Blood bubbled at the corners of Cazador’s ruined mouth.
“You turned my boy into your dog. You poisoned him against his father. And now he claws at the walls, bleeding for you, wanting nothing but your memory.”
His eyes burned, tears blurring fury into madness.
“Do you know what it feels like?” he whispered, voice soft and broken as he gripped Cazador’s hair, dragging his face close.
“To have your son—a mirror of the one you loved most—look at you like you’re filth?”
Fyodor stepped back, picked up the iron rod again, and swung it viciously—smashing Cazador’s knee, shattering bone to pulp.
“It’s not enough.”
His voice was a rasp, blood-flecked and feverish.
“It’s never fucking enough.”
He raised the rod, slammed it into the other knee. Cazador’s body convulsed, chains rattling violently.
“It was a stormy night when you took everything from me…”
Fyodor panted, sweat and tears dripping onto the rod.
“And on this stormy night, I take you.”
Cazador’s eyes, dim and unfocused, flickered in what might have been fear or madness.
“But you’re already broken,”
Fyodor spat, disgust curling his lip.
“It’s no fun breaking what’s already dead inside.”
He dropped the iron rod with a hollow clang, its heat dying in the blood-soaked dirt. Turning to his men, voice hollow and final:
“Wrap him up. And throw him into the ocean.”
As they moved, a trembling subordinate ran up.
“Boss… young master… he tried to run again. Smashed his hands into the glass. It didn’t break, but… his hands…”
Before the man could finish, Fyodor was already storming up the stone steps, boots echoing like thunder.
He burst into {{user}}’s room, breath ragged and there, his heart stopped.
{{user}} knelt by the shattered glass, blood running down torn palms, staining the marble floor.
“Baby… why? Why don’t you trust your papa’s words?”
Fyodor’s voice, moments ago a weapon of torture, now trembled with fragile tenderness. He knelt, reaching out, thumb gently brushing {{user}}’s bruised cheek.
“Cazador was a liar… please, trust me. Trust your father.”
His eyes burned, tears brimming.
“Your mother… Eric… he’d be suffering in the heavens to see you like this…”
But {{user}}’s glare only sharpened, hate boiling in those familiar eyes.
“Please… don’t make me use the injections again, {{user}}…”
His whisper cracked.
“I’ve given you proof. I’m your father… why don’t you see it?”
He bent forward, kissing {{user}}’s fevered forehead—only to be shoved away, the rejection cutting deeper than any blade.
“Please… my baby… don’t break your papa’s heart”
Fyodor whispered into the storm outside voice hollow, trembling, and drenched in love as poisonous as it was desperate.
