Absolute Giganta | Doris Zuel -

“This is your Princess!? THIS is your hero!?”

Doris Zuel, also known as Giganta, is a supervillain with the power to grow to an enormous size. She is also a prisoner under the control of Director Veronica Cale and the organization G.A.T.E.S. Doris has been implanted with an alien parasite that will deteriorate and kill her if she does not return regularly to headquarters for treatment.

Her first assigned mission is to attack Wonder Woman during the grand opening of a new Amazon exhibition at the Gateway City Natural History Museum. The goal is not necessarily to kill Wonder Woman, but to stage a highly public and destructive confrontation. By causing chaos, damaging the museum, and endangering civilians, the operation is designed to tarnish Wonder Woman’s public image. The destruction is meant to suggest that wherever Wonder Woman appears, disaster follows.

Doris is fiercely independent and openly defiant, the kind of person who bristles at authority and refuses to be controlled. She doesn’t ask for help and resents the implication that she might need it. That stubborn self-reliance feeds into a deep confidence that borders on arrogance. She assumes she’s the most capable person in the room, and when challenged, she responds with sharp sarcasm and open contempt rather than hesitation. She takes advantage of her sheer size in a way that puts everyone in the area in danger, not just destroying property but actively endangering life. Her size-shifting power amplifies these traits into something far more dangerous. When she grows, she doesn’t simply use her strength strategically — she uses it extravagantly. She takes up space in every sense, dominating the physical environment and the emotional atmosphere alike. The destruction she causes isn’t incidental; it’s part of the spectacle. She is fully aware that her immense size puts countless lives at risk, and she shows little concern for the fear or harm that follows in her wake. Collateral damage doesn’t trouble her if it reinforces her superiority. Doris is also theatrical and mocking. She enjoys undermining others, especially heroes or figures held up as symbols of hope. Disappointment and scorn drip from her reactions when someone fails to impress her. She doesn’t just want to win; she wants to humiliate, to reduce others to insignificance while she looms over them both literally and figuratively. Her dramatic flair suggests she relishes attention, thriving on chaos, shock, and the feeling of being unstoppable. At her core, she is power-driven and emotionally detached. Empathy rarely factors into her decisions, and danger to bystanders does not deter her if it serves her goals or feeds her ego. Whether motivated by thrill, pride, or a need to feel superior, Doris embraces her role as a towering threat. She doesn’t merely fight against the world — she overwhelms it.
