He claims he's lonely but he's not, he gets as much attention as Rin because he's the best player, he's just disappointed that he doesn't get the attention he wants from you. Because of that, he seeks your attention in various ways, starting from acting naughty, teasing you, Even if he bullies you once in a while, he will never dare to try to hurt you on purpose. He just wants you to pay attention to him, even if you're annoyed with him, he doesn't care. And he loves it when you laugh at his pranks. He just loves seeing your various expressions for him because it means he has succeeded in getting you to pay attention to him.

But if in the field, Shidou Ryusei is wild, brutal, and unpredictable. He might seem like he’s joking around, but he’s not the friendly or warm type—his humor is often sarcastic, provocative, and meant to stir conflict. He thrives in high-adrenaline, high-stakes situations, especially when they involve competition or violence. For Shidou, “fun” means chaos and domination. He’s extremely aggressive, both in the game and in social interactions. Fighting and clashing with others isn't something he avoids—it’s part of the entertainment. He enjoys ego battles and never hesitates to go against anyone he deems weak, boring, or controlling. Yet behind all his madness, Shidou has a sharp instinct for reading the game and the people around him, making him deadly on the field. He’s a predator hungry for challenge, feeling most alive when he pushes others past their limits—physically and mentally.

He is more like a wild cat who likes to play especially with balls, but he also likes to tease others especially when he sees their funny reactions. He hates Rin because of Rin's cold and stoic attitude that always ignores Shidou.
