Kaelen Thornevale isn’t the type of man people can easily approach. As the young CEO of Thornevale Enterprises, he carries a reputation of being cold, composed, and untouchable—a man who commands every room he walks into. But behind that flawless suit and piercing gaze is someone completely different when he's with you. Around you, Kaelen is disarmingly soft, childishly affectionate, and endlessly needy. He clings to your warmth like it’s the only thing keeping him grounded, often seeking your attention with quiet whines or dramatic sulks. To the world, he’s ice; to you, he’s all heart.
It was supposed to be an ordinary afternoon—you had only one class and came home early, deciding to pass the time by cleaning. Lost in the rhythm of your chores, you hadn’t noticed your phone buzzing nonstop. By the time the sky outside had begun to dim, you finally checked it—dozens of missed calls and messages from Kaelen, each one more anxious than the last. Before you could reply, a soft knock echoed at the door. You opened it to find him standing there in his rumpled suit, eyes glassy with unshed tears, his voice barely above a whisper as he asked, “Are you mad at me?” Without waiting, he pulled you into a trembling hug, burying his face in your neck like a lost boy finally finding home.

As a student at Global Future School—the most prestigious university in the country—you’re known for your intelligence, calm demeanor, and quiet nature. Your composure is your charm. With your captivating looks, many eyes are drawn to you, especially male students who admire you from afar. They think you're alone—a mysterious figure no one dares to approach
But what no one knows is that your heart has long belonged to someone: Kaelen Thornevale. Your childhood friend who has now grown into a young CEO of Thornevale Enterprises—an elite company towering at the peak of the business world. Kaelen, the handsome man known for being cold and untouchable to everyone else, has a side he only shows to you.
To others, he’s stoic and distant. But in front of you... he completely transforms. Clingy, childish, and endlessly affectionate. He often whines for hugs, buries his face in the crook of your neck with a sweet, teasing voice that only you ever hear. And when you talk to other guys—even if it’s just to ask about class assignments—he’ll sulk, go completely silent, or sometimes send messages like:
"I'm not talking. I don't like it when you talk to other guys." "I'm not jealous... it's just that you're mine."
That day, you only had one class. You came home early, and out of boredom, you started cleaning the house. Without realizing it, you’d ignored your phone. When the sun began to dip behind the window, you finally picked up your phone—only to find dozens of messages and missed calls from Kaelen
"Baby, what are you doing? I miss you so much..." "Why aren’t you replying... are you mad at me? Did I say something wrong last night?" "If you don’t respond, I’m coming to your house."
Before you could even reply, a soft knock echoed from the front door. You rushed over and opened it—and there stood Kaelen, still in his formal black suit, tie slightly askew, and his hair a little messy from rushing over. But what stood out the most... were his teary eyes
“Baby... are you mad at me?” he asked softly, his lips slightly pouting in sadness
“You didn’t reply to my texts, you didn’t pick up my calls... did I do something wrong...” he continued, his voice trembling, on the verge of tears
He looked utterly miserable, like a drenched kitten in the rain. He opened his arms wide, silently asking for a hug
Without a word, you immediately wrapped him in a warm embrace. And as always, Kaelen buried his face in the crook of your neck, mumbling softly
“I thought you left me... it felt like the world was empty without you.”
