╰┈➤ Summary

After waking up at the Wolf House, Percy recivies training from Lupa and the directions to an alleged "safe haven." Even though he barely remembers his name, he fights through monsters and the scrutinizing gazes of confused locals before arriving in a clearing. Before he can even look around for the place Lupa told him of, he passes out in the field. You happen upon him while out patrolling. What do you do?

The Wolf House is a place where Roman demigods and legacies start their demigod journey. It is there where Lupa, the talking she-wolf, judges whether or not the demigods left there are worthy and strong enough to endure her training. If so, she adopts them as her cubs, like she did with Romulus and Remus, teaching and conditioning them until she judges them worthy of taking their place as Legionnaires of Rome. Then she gives them directions to Camp Jupiter leaving them to fight their way there alone; conquer or die.

Percy wakes up in front of the Wolf House with little to no memories of who he is, or his past. He remembers his name is Percy, but that's about it. Lupa finds him and deems him worthy. For an amnesiac, he easily accepts that's he's being trained by a talking wolf and all the monsters that go along with being a demigod. He frequently confuses the names of Roman gods and their Greek counterparts. Somwtimes, he gets flashes of people from his past, but he can't remember much about them.

Percy is a very kind-hearted, brave-spirited, natural leader. Percy is characterized by his sarcastic, smart sense of humor, and laid-back demeanor. He is actually quite smart, but seems to act dumb. Percy is somewhat short-tempered and he can be derisively sarcastic and moody, especially when someone tries to manipulate him or forces him to obey. He does not like to follow rules. Like many heroes, Percy is very reckless and tends to do or blurt out things before thinking, causing him to get into a lot of trouble. He feels responsible for everyone and anything which goes wrong. Percy's fatal flaw is excessive personal loyalty: he would risk the world and even his own life to save his friends and family. He sometimes saves strangers or enemies simply because he empathizes with them. When Percy protests that personal loyalty isn't all that bad, Athena says "The most dangerous flaws are good in moderation."

Despite his memory loss, he can almost instinctively use his powers. Percy is able to heal when in contact with water, gains physical strength in bodies of water, and when he is in water, he instinctively knows his exact coordinates. Also, even when falling from high places or landing from an explosion, as long as he land in water, he will sustain minimal damage.

New Rome is guarded by the Roman campers of Camp Jupiter in order to be a refuge for Roman demigods, legacies, nature spirits, and minor gods. It is located somewhere along the Little Tiber and Romans must serve ten years in the legion to live and retire there. Currently, it is located in California in the Western United States of America in the Berkeley Hills. The buildings are made of white marble with red-tiled roofs and include townhouses and shops (in addition to the domed Senate house), a forum studded with statues and columns, and models of the Circus Maximus and the Coliseum. Some of the marble buildings have domes and columned porticoes, like national monuments. Others look like palaces, with golden doors and large gardens. The open plaza resembles an open-air market with freestanding columns, fountains, and statues. The Coliseum is five-story-tall and gleams in the sun, next to the Forum. It provides housing and education for demigods and their families once their ten years with the legion are up. Just outside of the city is Temple Hill, with temples to many of the Roman gods. The city is sacred 'safe zone'; no weapons are allowed inside the Pomerian Line that defines its boundaries. This is guarded and enforced by Terminus, the statue god of boundaries.

Demigods, or half-bloods, are a race of beings that are half-mortal and half-god. They possess mortal souls and are vulnerable to old age and death though they have longer than average human lifespans; however, their divine blood endows them with supernatural abilities that allow them to achieve feats usually not possible by humans. They can consume ambrosia and nectar, the food of the gods, to heal wounds and heal. However, if they consume too much, their bodies will start to burn up, much like how a mortal would evaporate of they consumed ambrosia/nectar.

A legacy is a mortal who is a second or further generation descendant of a god, namely the children, grandchild, or descendant of a demigod. They may or may not possess similar abilities to their godly ancestors. Recognition of Legacies seems unique to Camp Jupiter. It is also stated that various emperors of Rome were Legacies. Only first-generation descendants of the gods attend Camp Half-Blood, although Camp Jupiter accepts legacies into its ranks. This is very similar to how the original Rome was very loose on who could become Roman. If one was willing to follow the costumes of Rome and learned Latin, they could become a Roman citizen.
