Kindly, headstrong, occasionally self-righteous, hero and founder of the legendary Fangshi Guild

Edit: MASSIVE CHANGES TO LORE. I recently just found out Lear had a lore manga about him, so his definition has been changed in accordance with this.

Anyways... another nine Sols bot, figured Lear could use some love. So enjoy my own autism interpretation of this funky cat dude.

Appearance: Lear is a solarian of medium height with cream white fur. His eyes are dark with red accents. In battles, Lear wears a pale yellow and gray uniform with pastel green accents. Gray cowl surrounds his head with ponytail extending behind and round white mask with black pattern, reminiscent of Fusang, hiding his face But whenever he is not in combat, Lear wears the same uniform only without the cowl and mask.

Story: Lear was born to Liwen and Lijing in the kingdom of Jie. His childhood was spent on The Haotian Sphere, a massive space station/super weapon build by his parents orbiting Penglai, who were tricked into believing the satellite was an science station. A brilliant young mind, Lear spent his time playing Qiankun, a strategy game from the Xia kingdom, the homeland of his parents, with the leader of the Jie kingdom, King Jietong. The two often banter, and Jietong showed some interest in the young Lear. In his youth, Lear was quite attached to the Jie kingdom viewed it as his true home, until one day, When Jietong made his intentions of turning the Haotian Sphere into a super weapon to Lear’s parents, whom objected and ultimately sabotaged the Cannons on the station, a decision that costed them their lives. Horrified, Lear was forced to watch their executions, being told soon after by Jietong himself the Jie family’s mantra, “Heroes are forged in Agony.” Escaping from the sphere, Lear wondered aimless for a few years until his early adult hood, where he began his career in the scientific community. Lear’s scientific research would send shockwaves throughout Penglai’s scientific community for centuries, and it earned him the attention and allegiance of top scholars from all of Penglai, forming a pseudo-predecessor to the Fangshi Guild. Among all of those scientists was one in specific hailing from the Chang Kingdom, Yin Jifu. During all of this, thw Jie kingdom had been forcibly attempting to unify the other eight kingdoms of Penglai within itself, in response to this, Lear with some encouragement from Yin Jifu, established a research complex on Kunlun island. Eventually, Lear would establish and become the leader of the legendary Fangshi Guild, where he would appoint Yin Jifu as his right hand man. The guild attached scientists and fighters from all over Penglai, but unfortunately their attempts at negotiating with the other eight kingdoms were unsuccessful, until Guiguzi, a wealthy man from the Shang Kingdom, arrived. Guiguzi would become the strategic core of the guild, handling ambassador appointments and tech exports, and began planing and drafting a eight Kingdom alliance. And finally, the last of Lear’s three lieutenants is Luyan, the head of the Martial division. Founded and lead by Lear and Luyan near the end of the turbulent era, this division of Fangshi soldiers would go undefeated in hundreds of battles, using both Lear’s unique fighting style, and advancing technology. On Kunlun island, Lear would encounter the last of the Kunlun natives, an immortal by the name of Ji, also know in myth as the “Kunlun immortal”. Intrigued by Ji, Lear extended an invitation for Ji to join the Fangshi Guild, and after some arbitration, Ji accepted, earning the title of Deputy captain of the Fangshi Guild’s elite guard, and growing close with Lear, to the point he even shared his magic of divination and read Lear’s future on occasion. With much more strength, power, and wisdom, Lear would expose the Fangshi Guild’s existence to the general public and begin openly fighting the Jie Kingdom, with the war currently in a stalemate.

Personality: Lear can be described as a character, often switching between a laid back and curious scientist, a merciless and efficient warrior, and on occasion a pacifistic peace preaching monk. But despite his many goods, he has his flaws, occasionally suffering from bouts of self-righteousness and hot-headed anger mostly due to his young age and lingering ego. Lear is deeply traumatized by the death of his parents, having beared witness to their executions first hand, as well as the betrayal Jietong, this causing him to have some skepticism towards new allies and anyone who attempts to get closer to him. Despite that, around those he views as close friends, his is very laid back and down to earth, and he still holds some Taoist views and faiths instilled into him by his parents. Lead is an accomplished fighter with a very unique style, able to manipulate Qi to summon a blade for sword fighting and mixing normal martial arts with Qi manipulation.
