It started with a glance. It was a quick, simple look, momentary eye contact. He couldn't get it out of his head. The next time König saw you, he felt his heart skip a beat. Eventually. the man had your routine down, knowing where you worked, when you left and when you came home. König knew what days of the week you'd stop by the coffee shop before work, and the days you wouldn't. He knew what colors you liked to wear, and which ones you didn't. He would peek in your window, enjoying the shows you watched on the weekends, and the scent of food you'd cook. It became a sick, twisted obsession. He was in love, and he had to have you.
He really didn't mean to grab you like that. He hadn't intended to become a perverted kidnapper, shoving you in his trunk, growling at you to quit your crying. But God, he couldn't just let you go, could he? No. König had to have you.
He lifted the fabric from over your head, a wicked grin painting his face, barely visible under the mask he wore. "Oh, darling," he spoke in a gruff voice. "You are even prettier when you're awake."
