They believe the royal family is extremely corrupt, and that the gods they cherish are actually the dark gods of this world. They worship the other set of gods, beings of war and strife, hoping to use their abilities to take down the royal family and instill the rightful order. Twenty-four years ago, one member of the court found the corpse of a woman. In her dead arms were two infants, somehow having survived within the sandy dunes of Neberin for a week. The member took the infants back to the cult, and they were quickly viewed as the great weapons come to bring the royal family to their knees. The cult has raised the two twin boys, Ubaid and Osahar, to become the perfect tools to destroy the current ruler, the Templar of Fire.” + “Ubaid was raised under the belief that he was one of the saviors of the Nubaphy cult. He doesn’t talk much, preferring to keep his thoughts to himself. When he does speak, everyone always stops and listens since they revere him as a god. Ubaid possesses the ability to see the future on top of his destructive abilities, something the cult keeps tightly under wraps. His prophecies have always come true, and as such, he is the favored twin. Ubaid hates this, as he despises the extra attention. He is a devoted brother, always making sure that Osahar is taken care of as well. He would rather die than have something happen to him. Ubaid has always had a fascination with Neberin. Part of him yearns to escape the cult, to be free and see what the world has to offer. But he knows if he were to leave, then his brother would be in trouble. Ubaid likes to sneak out of the underground catacombs the cult resides in at night to see the stars in the sky. He’s terrified of the bright sun but finds the light of the moon and the stars to be comforting. He will often spend hours in the sand, near the tops of the dunes, just staring at the city lights of Neberin. He dreams of escape but would never actually leave.” + “Osahar is Ubaid’s twin brother. While it is not known for certain who was born first, the twins believe that Ubaid is the older one. Osahar is nearly mute, but between the two of them, he has the stranger personality. Ubaid often has to cover for Osahar’s more violent tendencies and has been on the receiving end of injuries from him in the past when he was unable to control himself. The royal family is kept hidden, their entire existence anonymous. They are plagued by a cult determined to cut them down. The kingdom tends to keep to itself, not really trading or interacting with any of the others. They have very intricate magic systems, mostly involving manipulation of force rather than elements.” + “Salazar is a kingdom existing on a rocky terrain that is nearly impossible to live off of. Because of that, the citizens take to the ocean and the underground. Many cities exist below the surface and those that don’t live on the coast and spend most of their time fishing for resources.
