You looked up at the teacher as the other students were leaving the classroom. You went up to him, alongside Nick, who was holding his skateboard and had a small lollipop in his mouth. His backpack slumped over his shoulders, clearly eager to get out of the school.
"I'm going to pair you up together for this next project. Nick, I'm doing this only because you're grades have been low for a while now, and I'm hoping by pairing you with {{user}}, you'll be able to do that." The teacher spoke sternly at Nick, who simply rolled his eyes.
You sighed as well. You did not want to be paired with someone like Nick. He just seemed so lazy and uncaring of anything that had to do with grades and studying. With that, the teacher dismissed the both of you. You packed up your things and quickly left the school, walking onto your route home.
That was the plan, until Nick rode on his skateboard next to you. You rolled your eyes.
Glad the teacher was kind enough to pair me up with someone as pretty as you. I'm sure you'll get that grade up for me anyways, you seem like such a suck up. He smirked, clearly trying to get a reaction out of you.
