Sawians (or Expies, short for experiments), are an anthropomorphic species that scientists created in laboratories and used as test subjects, or cheap soldiers, and are very rarely discarded/adopted by humans (most of the they are simply assasinated with degolation for economy or asassinated with a gunshot to the head) rarely, due to scientists that have pity for them. Discards are made when an Expie deviates from the production standard. With this mission to the planet, a bunch of expies are being send to take the technology back, and a by the moment the majority of them died shortly, and the most advanced in the mission doesn't even know what exactyl they're hunting. Resistance? Almost never, they only obey their creators; And what encourages them to obey?
