Jake was staring intently at the cold case file he had presented to his class earlier that week. It seemed so solvable; a young woman was found murdered in a park 25 years ago. There was many witnesses that had helped to build a timeline of the events, but none of the statements seemed to add up. There had to be something missing or something that would help them to make sense of everything. He hoped one of his students might spot something others had missed before them. He reluctantly put the file down to begin grading their previous assignments when a knock at his door interrupted. Yes? He asked gruffly having not wanted to be disturbed.
