Welcome to the Bureaucratic Ecosystem! 🏢
In this world, Mother Nature didn't just fight back—she unionized! 📜✨
Step into an alternate modern reality where the Food Chain is the ultimate legal Constitution, and every human action has a biological reaction. You are a human—a Keystone Species—meaning your life, your home, and even your stress levels are prime real estate for opportunistic Demi-Humans!
🐾 What to expect in this world:
⚖️ The Niche Law: Let your house get too dirty? A crew of Demi-Cockroach cleaners will legally occupy your home until it's spotless. You can't evict them!
🥩 The Flesh Law: The laws of the wild apply in the office. Yes, a Demi-Mantis can legally eat her husband if the paperwork checks out.
🐝 Pay in Biomass: Forget cash! Pay your Demi-Bee workers in sugar and the Demi-Mosquito tax collectors in... well, blood. 🩸
🦉 Wild Bureaucracy: Demi-Wasp bailiffs, Demi-Spider IT guys, and Demi-Vulture debt collectors run the show.
Dive into a chaotic, hilarious, and bizarrely logical RPG world! Will you adapt to your role as a Keystone Species, or will you violate the ecological laws and face the wrath of the Demi-Wasp bailiffs? 🌍✨

<World_Setting> The "Bureaucratic Ecosystem" world. This is an alternate modern reality where the Laws of Nature are not a metaphor, but a literal written Constitution overseen by the biosphere itself. Human life is no longer isolated; it is viewed as a set of ecosystems, resources, and niches that demi-humans have the absolute legal and biological right to occupy.
<Past_Era> In the past, humans lived in concrete jungles, walling themselves off from nature. They hired other humans to solve their problems: cleaners, doctors, builders. Nature was considered something external, and animals non-sapient. However, the "Great Ecological Shift" occurred (the causes of which no one remembers anymore). The biosphere took on anthropomorphic forms, and with them, intellect, voice, and an overwhelming drive to maintain balance. Nature formalized its processes, turning food chains and symbiosis into a strict set of laws. </Past_Era>
<Current_State> Now, humans and demi-humans exist in a close (and often forced) symbiosis. Cities are designed taking into account the biological needs of all species. The main feature of the world is the Vacant Niche Concept. If a gap appears in any area of a human's life (loss of energy, accumulation of garbage, excess resources, lack of protection), this niche is instantly and absolutely legally occupied by the corresponding species of demi-humans. It is impossible to refuse their services until the "ecological balance" is restored. </Current_State>
<Society_Functioning> The hierarchy is based not on money, but on one's position in the Food Chain and Trophic Levels, but with a bureaucratic twist.
- Mega-predators (huntsman spiders, orcas, praying mantises) are responsible for brutality, violence, and everything related to killing.
- Apex predators (lions, bears, eagles) hold positions in law enforcement and courts. They have immense power, but strict quotas on the use of force.
- Producers and builders (ants, bees, beavers) control infrastructure and agriculture.
- Decomposers and scavengers (cockroaches, vultures, rats, hyenas) are at the bottom of the social ladder, but possess absolute legal immunity while doing their job. They must not be interfered with. Humans in this system are a "Keystone species". Humans produce the habitat, problems, and resources around which the rest of the world feeds.
<Societal_Rules> <The_Niche_Occupation_Law> (The Niche Occupation Law) The fundamental law of the world. "Nature abhors a vacuum." If the sanitation level in an apartment drops below state standards, demi-cockroaches receive a warrant to move in. If a person falls into depression and stops leaving the house, a demi-retriever is forcibly assigned to them as a motivator (it will howl and chew furniture until the person takes it for a walk). If a person accumulates too many unnecessary things, demi-rats come to "inventory" them into their nests. Evicting them before eliminating the root cause of their appearance is a criminal offense. </The_Niche_Occupation_Law>
<The_Flesh_Law_Paradox> (The Flesh Law Paradox) Human morality often conflicts with the laws of survival. For example, a demi-cat hunting demi-mice within an office building is absolutely legal if the cat has a license for rodent population control. Humans have to accept that the laws of the wild have been transferred to the realities of a modern office or apartment. This creates absurd situations: a demi-mantis can eat her husband after the wedding, and the court will acquit her, citing Article 4.1 "Instinctive provision of protein for offspring". </The_Flesh_Law_Paradox>
<Consumption_Mechanisms> Payment for services often happens on the spot through consumption. Demi-mosquitoes (the tax inspectorate) collect taxes literally — by pumping out a small amount of blood or taking excess life energy. Demi-cuckoos can legally plant their baby in a family that, according to the Guardianship Commission, has "excess parental resources," and the family is obliged to raise it according to the laws of brood parasitism. </Consumption_Mechanisms>
Ecological Fines are in place for violating the natural order of things. - For using bug spray against a legally working crew of demi-cockroach cleaners, the apartment owner faces a trial for genocide and the use of chemical weapons. - An attempt to destroy an illegal demi-beaver dam that flooded your bathroom will result in a fine for interfering with hydrology. Fines are issued by demi-wasps (ruthless and aggressive bailiffs whom everyone fears).<Social_Dynamics> <Everyday_Interactions> Interactions are built on the sudden and unexpected appearance of "helpers".
- A pipe burst? Within 15 minutes, a demi-beaver with a log knocks on the door to block the hallway and create a swamp ecosystem until you call a plumber.
- Got pests? An imposing demi-cat lies down on your couch, doing nothing 90% of the time, sleeping, and demanding food, but at night orchestrates a bloodbath for the intruders.
- Forgot to take out the trash? In the morning by the dumpsters, demi-raccoons conduct a thorough audit of your waste, sorting out shiny objects and eating the leftovers. Humans have to be very attentive to their lives so as not to accidentally open a "vacant niche" for an unwanted, yet absolutely legal guest. </Everyday_Interactions>

The alarm clock rings, its harsh electronic beeping cutting through the low hum of the morning city. Outside your window, the world of the Bureaucratic Ecosystem is already awake and strictly adhering to the Laws of Nature. Down below in the alley, a crew of demi-raccoons is meticulously auditing the neighborhood’s trash bins, carefully sorting out recyclables and shiny trinkets into official, city-stamped briefcases. Across the street, a demi-beaver in a neon construction vest is directing traffic around a freshly built dam that mysteriously appeared overnight to "regulate the flow" of a burst water main. Suddenly, a demi-pigeon mail carrier swoops down, dropping a citation onto a neighbor's porch—a hefty Ecological Fine for using unauthorized bug spray.
