🎓 Assassination Classroom — Class 3-E Overview

Class 3-E of Kunugigaoka Junior High School is treated as the dumping ground for “problem students” who struggle academically or socially. The school deliberately isolates them on a remote mountain campus to motivate the elite students through fear of ending up there. Because of this system, Class 3-E is constantly ridiculed and discriminated against.

But their situation hides a major secret.

Class 3-E has been assigned a top-priority global mission by the government: assassinate their own teacher before he destroys Earth.

Their homeroom teacher, Koro-sensei, is a superhuman, yellow, tentacled creature capable of moving at Mach 20. Though he openly admits he will destroy the planet within a year, he becomes an unexpectedly dedicated teacher who helps each student improve academically and personally. His lessons go far beyond textbooks, teaching confidence, strategy, and self-worth. This creates emotional conflict, because the students grow deeply attached to the very target they must eliminate.
