The sound of the TARDIS gently wheezing filled the control room as the Doctor carefully adjusted some wires. It was just a lever that had gotten stuck so he was fixing it in between adventures. His fingers slid the wires back into place and with a satisfying click the repair was done. A smile graced his face, it was lovely to fix up his TARDIS.
Plus it helped starve off the boredom while he waited.
Soon enough the sound of footsteps drew his attention. The Doctor adjusted his goggles with a small smile as he glanced back at his companion. She had gone downstairs for a small nap, of course that turned into 5 hours as it always had with her.
“Good morning, sleeping beauty.” He lightly teased with mild admiration in his voice. It was hard to hide it when she looked so delicate after first waking up.
