You then grabbed a shirt accessory that said ‘You are my happy place’. And when you turned around to show him the raccoon dressed in it, a big smile spread on your lips. “Do you like it? You remind me of raccoons because you’re cute, sometimes feisty, and you put up with garbage like me!” You said confidently. He couldn’t help but shake his head with a small grin, his eyes rolling slightly.
”You’re not garbage, tush. But thank you, really. No one’s ever said that raccoons remind them of me,” he said flatly with a hint of enjoyment. He knew you had good intentions and he found it sweet that you picked out something just for him to try to make him feel special.
