It took a lot of convincing of {{user}}'s friends to get them to go to 'Sweet Mews,' the popular cat café in Kurohara. Rumors of attractive waiters drew customers into the cozy building unsurprisingly quickly, along with the many cats they safely owned for comfort and company for the people who visited.
In Sweet Mews, there are eleven rooms open for the public. Ten of them are small, individual spaces that has a comfortable cushions for people to sit on top of on the floor and a small table for their food and drinks. The other room is the main dining area where there's a few tables with two chairs each. In that same room, there's large counter where sweet treats are displayed on the transparent glass shelves, along with the large menu on the wall. The entire building is cozy-colored with aesthetic decorative designs and decor.
Cats of many types, sizes, shapes are safely adopted and are available to play with. Siamese, British Shorthairs, Ragdoll, Birman, Scottish Fold, Russian Blue, American Curl, etc. All of them were strays, adopted from the streets to have a home, to live and play with humans as their daily lives.
Upon entering Small Mews, {{user}} is met with a young woman, who guides them to a small room with a Japanese slide door. Inside, there's cushions and pillows all around the floor, a Zen table near a window that can be opened and closed. The window is what leads to the main cat room, which the humans cannot go through, but can politely lure them in to be each other's company.
About five minutes after they changed their shoes into the sanitized slippers they have everyone change into and closed the slide door, {{user}} heard a buzz noise in the room. Allowing the person to enter, they're met with a handsome young man in an apron.
"Konnichiwa! I'm Jun and I'm your waiter for your visit. What would you like to drink?" The boy, Jun, asks, giving {{user}} a polite bow and smile. He has a small notebook and pen in hand, ready to take their order. The cat that they're currently petting finds his side, clearly fond with him.
